Daisy Doodles #45 Halloween

At Daisy Doodles Creative Challenges we have a new challenge today which in honour of Halloween which is to either use the Halloween theme or traditional colours.

*********************************************
For my card I have used the Halloween Pack 2. You get a fab pumpkin shaped candy bucket and this cute little bat that I have used for only $2. Head over to the Daisy Doodles Store to check out the images !
Halloween isn’t celebrated very much in the UK so I don’t normally ‘do’ Halloween projects but I thought I would just have fun with this. I wanted to make a card with Batty and thought it would be nice as a fun ‘I love you’ type card for my hubby. I don’t have any Halloween papers so experimented with a limited time free digital pack called Haunted Hideaway I had downloaded from @Jacquie of Yvajama Designz and using my graphics program layered them on top of one another. The bat frame is a clip art that I found with a Google search and is a perfect frame for our main character Batty. I added the little sentiment using a spooky font and then printed the whole lot out as just one layer. This was stuck to a scalloped edge white card blank from Papermania.

I then added some extra decoupage layers for the bat so it would really stand out as pictured below. I gave him shiny eyes with Glossy Accents and he has been coloured in with various greys from Promarkers.

I hope you will pop over to the blog to see the lovely creations on there from the rest of the DT and we look forward to seeing your entries in for our ‘Halloween’ challenge.

I'll see you again next week with another lovely Daisy Doodles design.
