There's something special about cigars, the fact that they are all lovingly hand made, like specialty cake!
We were asked to create a cigar box for a retirement party, based on a box of Romeo y Julieta.
We carefully rolled our cigars from chocolate fondant. The cake was yellow vanilla with Callebaut Belgian chocolate cream filling.

Piped Ivory Wedding Cake with Calla Lilies
I was so excited to make this four tier ivory fondant wedding cake decorated with calla lilies, as well as scrolls and leaves piped in royal icing. There were tiers of lemon cake with lemon cream filling, plus a chocolate sponge cake with Belgian chocolate cream filling. We delivered the cake to a fabulous wedding reception at an outdoor marquee in picturesque Mountain Lakes NJ.

We can't all own a fabulous sports car, but we can have a flashy cake!

Improved Eggless Cake Recipes
Last week I had a request for eggless cakes to serve at an engagement party and also a wedding. So I went to work on some of my old eggless recipes to improve them, and I wanted to share the results of my delicious tasting with you!

Vanilla eggless cake - this was very light and fluffy, it had a white color, great for a wedding. I prepared a whipped Madagascar vanilla bean cream, which goes well with sliced fresh strawberries or red berries.

Eggless chocolate cake - the chocolate cake is amazing, very crumbly, but still moist and you wouldn't believe this was eggless, which tend to be heavy. I served the cake with a strawberry mousse, which is light and airy, then topped with shavings of Belgian chocolate.

Orange eggless cake - a yellow color and heavier, with more body than the vanilla cake. I decided to serve this with a whipped orange blossom cream and pieces of candied oranges.
Tempting huh?

Christian Louboutin Shoe Cake
I delivered this two tier cake to a 60th birthday party at the Galloping Hill Inn in Union NJ. The bottom tier is red velvet cake with dulce de leche cream, and the top tier is white vanilla with Belgian chocolate cream filling.
Pink and chocolate fondant covers the cake, decorated with a band of zebra print shapes and polka dots in chocolate fondant. On top is a brown Christian Louboutin shoe with a pink bow, the classic red sole and inside you can see the Louboutin label.

Hollywood Walk of Fame Cake
A Hollywood inspired cake with a Walk of Fame star for a "Whodunnit" party in South Orange NJ. Inside is yellow vanilla cake with Belgian chocolate cream. I covered the cake in a cement style fondant, and inserted the gold star of fame in the middle. We also included some hand prints and a reel of movie film wrapped around the outside.
Each of the guests was assigned an identity, so what happened to Frank Vinatra?
