Look who got stripped ... By the time I had got the blue 'right', he looked like he was wearing a wet suit ... he is only tiny, so stripping was in order.

To tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track ...
Many Thanks, Richard, of Battle Flag, for his excellent sale of the 5th NYS Volunteers' standards ...
Crisp, high-resolution, product, on paper, great communications and service, and at a reasonable price ... A+++ seller :)
All ready for when that diorama is nearly done :)
p.s. love to do a review on a little, free, transfer/decal ;)

Castles, Zouaves and The Colonel's Lucky Day !!! (Part 4)
OK,
First test piece cleaned up and on-the-way, with black primer (I will be doing another, with grey, spray, primer ... a thing I have never done before) ...
Pants are mainly done, but will need a highlight (just where the lamp glare is :) ) when in colour context ...
(1) Prime dilute GW C Black mix,
(2) Base GW B Red,
(3) Selective wash GW B Red wash,
(4) First highlight MP B Red,
(5) Second highlight MP Scarlet.
