~Ice Cream Lineup

Time for a mid week inspiration post over at From The Heart Stamps!  We have recycled sketch #2 for our sketch this week.  There is now tWiSt as we didn't have twists back then but it's a great sketch!

~Necktie Banner - FTHS 167

Happy Monday!!  We have a new sketch with a tWiSt for you over at From The Heart Stamps!  Our sketch this week is a great one for a nice clean and simple card which is what I did.

 I have used Necktie Banner for my image and the sketch-just turned it.   Paired it with some fun papers from Simple Stories called Aweso{ME}.

Use any size or shape, feel free to rotate it, flip it and embellish as you like, but if you use the sketch it should be recognizable!  Use the tWist(s), if you’d like. Or not!    We love to see your interpretation of the tWists and feel free to include your interpretation or inspiration in your posts.  As always, a From the Heart Stamps image is required.  Please check out the Challenge Rules under the tab “Challenges.”

~FTHS Sketch with a tWiSt #161

 Hey everyone!  I hope it is nice and warm in your neck of the woods, we have had a few days of -30 temperatures and I'm ready for some warmth!  Not to mention the ton of snow we got this weekend as well!!  

I am so happy to be back at it with From The Heart Stamps.  Faith is feeling better and doing well so we are back with our sketch challenges, mid week inspiration and sketch of the month posts!  There have been a few changes to the sketch with a tWiSt challenge and they are as follows: 

A random winner will receive 2 free images of their choice.

There will be no $5 voucher for the winner and there will not be a $1.00 credit for participating at this time.  This may change in the future but for right now, we are starting back slow and do not want to overwhelm Faith.  

Also, our challenges are a bit different, there is an added color option or the tWiSt and of course the sketch, so you may use one of the above, or two or all three!

 This cute lil image is called Bunny Love and it is a freebie right now over at the FTHS Shop! I have used some oldie but lovely papers from CTHM called Lollydoodle and paired it with Slate CS from CTMH as well as the new Shimmer Pen from CTMH as well.

Here is my project, using this super cute image from a set called Nerd Boy Balloon from the Smarty Pants collection.  From my stash I have used some of what I have left of the very first Echo Park paper pack I bought.  I don't even remember the name of the pack but it is perfect colors and patterns for a boy/masculine card and I really love it! I would say it is my go to choice for boy cards for sure!

 

I have also combined my hop card with this week's sketch with a tWiSt.  I did not use the tWiSt but I did use the fabulous sketch-just turned it to fit my image!

It's Wednesday already!!  Yippeee!  Less than a week of school left for Landon-Kirsten is done exams on Friday and Landon's awards on on Tuesday and then we are officially on summer holidays!

~FTHS Design Your Own Image Blog Hop

Welcome to our From the Heart Stamps blog hop. We have a fun and unique hop for you this month. Every image is new and each designer got to chose what they would like for a special image and Faith designed them. How fun is that??!!!  I love my image set so much and I am sure you will too.  I cant wait to do the hop myself to see how everyone else's ideas came to life!

Here is my project, using my adorable image set designed by Faith using my ideas. I love it and I hope you do to.  It's called Faithful Friends Aloha Girl.  We absolutely love Maui and being on the beach and findings seashells and other fun things with the kids and this set is perfect.  Hibiscus flowers are one of my very favorite tropical flowers as well-this set couldn't be more perfect!

I have used our sketch from this week as well.  Our tWiSt is a fun one too...make a curcle card but the sketch it self is equally fun.  You can use the sketch itself or incorporate it with the tWiSt, the choice is yours!

It's Wednesday already....woweee this week is flying by!  I have an inspiration card to share with you today for From The Heart Stamps. We have a fabulous sketch this week (#154) as always and our tWiSt this time around is to show off your coloring skills.  So I did just that in that I fussy cut my image out!

I have used one of my favorite images called Tropical Chick and paired it with some of my favorite paper from Close To My Heart called Footloose.  I love the colors in it and although it is retired, I still have a wee bit left!

Happy Wednesday!!   We have another short week this week as we had no school on Monday so the weekend will be here before we know it!  It's time for a new sketch with a tWiSt over at FTHS and I have a card to share with you for this week's mid week inspiration post. 

Our sketch this week is wonderful as always and our tWiSt  is to use a die cut on your card.  I have used  several die cuts this time around actually- Spellinders Nestabilities for the image and scallop border, Cheery Lynn Darling Daisies for the three layered flowers and Marianne Design Creatables LR0131 for the leaves.  The super cute image I have used is called Bouquet Chick and my papers are Lemonade Stand by Bo Bunny.

~Love You Mouse

Happy Friday!!  I have a mid week inspiration post for you for the current FTHS sketch #145with a tWiSt.  The sketch is great on it's own and the twist is to add sponging to your card.  I went with just the sketch this time around and here is my card.

 

 This super cute image is called Love You Mouse and comes with the mouse with or without flowers in the background and with 5 sentiments as well!!  What a great deal!  Our sketch for this week's challenge is below and you can find the rest of the design team inspiration here and here.
