Peace, Love and Joy Big card

This card is from Craft Roulette #244.

 The parameters were:

Project-Joy fold

Color-Bold/cold

Element-family

Random-ribbon

The gold paper, letter dies and the white die cut layered at the bottom of the cluster are from Sizzix. The embossing folder is by Gina Marie. The die cut that the ampersand sign is on is by Creative Expression. There’s Rick Rack on the left side of the card on top of a snowflake background stamp that I heat embossed in green embossing powder.  The joy tags on the right are sewn up there with not twine, but like hemp ribbon.
It’s a very heavy card. I would probably have to add extra postage. Thanks for looking.

Floral Friday Christmas Cricut Slimline card

Slimline cards are a challenge for me. I feel like there’s so much wasted space yet if you fill it up, it’s just too much.

The background patterned paper is by Bo Bunny.  The poinsettia is a Cricut die cut (Image set called Christmas Noel).

I dry embossed one of the layers of the poinsettia with a Cuttlebug embossing folder before adding Stickles to the petals.

The sentiment is by Hero Arts; I heat embossed it in gold and then colored in the frame with a mixture of paint and chalk. The ric rack is from my mother-in-law‘s stash.

Thanks for looking.

Floral Friday Happy Flowers upcycled cards

My cards today were made using the outside and the inside of a store-bought card. Below are my cards and then look at the next picture and see what I did.

First card: I added the vellum sentiment. The floral heart is the inside of the card. It also uses a second store-bought card; the pink patterned paper. See the next picture.

For the second card, I used Tim Holtz die cuts.
The background paper is by Studio G
The letter stickers are by Studio Calico

Floral Friday Holly Trio of Cards Colored in with 3 different green combos

Hmmm...I'm not sure that I have a favorite. Do you?
They were all colored with Copic markers.
The first card uses very primary colors. (PP by Sunborn)
In the second card, the green is muted, as if it were aged. (PP by K and Co and the rub-on border is by American Crafts))
The third card is bright with a yellow hue to it. (PP from stash. Green from Michael's. Rick Rack from my stash)
Thanks for looking.

Floral Friday Yellow Shaped Clearly Besotted flower Cards

The Flower stamp set and matching dies are by Clearly Besotted

The sentiment is a die-cut by AC Moore called the Love Nicole collection

The die-cut base and the small white die-cut are unknown. The yellow is Spellbinders

The patterned paper is by Poppy Stamps. Rick Rack is from my stash

In the card below I used the same flower stamp set

The sentiment is from my stash

The die-cuts are by Sizzix (yellow) and Spellbinders (coral)

The patterned paper...I made my own background by following a "Forgotten Technique" on a YouTuber named Justine

The stencils are by The Crafter's Workshop for the large one

The smaller stencil is by Dollar tree. I love that it's a self-adhesive stencil.

These probably weren't the best two stencils to use together with the yellow and red Distress Oxide inks.

The Sisterhood of Crafters is to use a stencil. I used two.

These next couple of pictures show the yellow cards I made with the same floral Clearly Besotted stamp set.

Floral Friday Just for you Clearly Besotted in yellow cards

I stamped and die cut out a ton of these Clearly Besotted flowers. In all different colors.
Floral Friday continues:

This first card:
The die-cuts are by Spellbinders and inked with distress ink. There is distress ink is around the outside white panel and also inside the die-cut. Squeezed Lemonade Is a great yellow distress ink. The ribbon is by Craft Smart. The embossing folder is by Cuttlebug and inked with Walnut distress ink.

I am struggling with the photos of the card. Idk if my monitor is showing the colors as flat or if it's the way I'm taking the picture. Below is the original picture and above is the same picture that has been enhanced.

Second one:
The patterned paper is from Poppy stamps and then the yellow die-cuts paper is by Scenic Route.
The die-cuts layered 4 deep are all by Sizzix.
Green ribbon-The Ribbon Boutique.

Third card:
The patterned paper is by Provo Craft (very old. using my stash makes me happy).
The stamped word "Let's" is a Paper Smooches stamp.
The "Celebrate" die is by Desire by Crafters Companion. The purple die cut is unknown because it was not my die.

I took a photo of these together to show how the same flower stamp looks in different colors.

WERQ Friend Christmas Card scrapbook layout

Here's another layout for my Christmas Photo Cards Scrapbook.

The word "Friends" is vellum and is by Creative Memories

The circle punches are by Creative Memories. The letters and numbers are SU stamps stamped into each small circle. The zeros are buttons

The red patterned paper is by Little Yellow Bicycle and the green paper in the center is by Provo Craft.

I wanted to cover up a seam in the center of the layout.
The translucent ribbon I pulled out was too see-thru. I needed something else to cover the seam but not take away from the green ribbon.

So I came up with this, I put the rick rack inside the center of the green ribbon and folded it in half.
I used a glue gun to adhere it all together and to the paper.

Manly Monday Say “Hi” to my friend alligator Card

Isn't he a cutie. I have another one colored out but I haven't found the perfect paper and things to go with him. Maybe some time soon.
anyway,
I think the stamp by Close to my Heart
I colored him in with Copic markers and then cut him out. Nothing special with the cutting.

The sentiment word is made with a brad with each letter. It's crazy what you find when you dig into your stash.

The patterned paper is from a store-bought card

The bottom of the card is a piece or two of rick rack and torn scraps of paper as well as a piece of darker green ribbon.
I was going for the wavy look that matched but yet didn't match the background.

The Chalk a lot and Stamp N Plus are no longer in business but I kept the information here for my own personal timeline.
UPDATED PHOTO AND FONT SIZE, ADDED LABELS, REMOVED SOME LINKS, and CHANGED THE TITLE TO REFLECT WHAT THE POST IS AND NOT CAL CHALLENGE. ALL OF THIS WAS DONE ON

Chalk-Ah-Lot Cafe for

Calendar Layout 14 Years of Marriage

I made this Layout using a sketch from Sketches in Thyme. That is my husband and me at a wedding reception in 2010. The layout is for my mom's calendar that I am still making her. Thank God she is a patient woman.
The brads in the little squares are for weddings. One is a wedding cake and the others are wine glasses/goblets. I wet embossed the heart, which is a Digi stamp from Shannon's Sentiments, with silver embossing powder, then used distressing ink by Ranger on the edges and finished it off with a couple spritz of water and Perfect Pearls. The spellbinders die are label #1. I love this die and use it a lot. I'm also using this layout for the challenge at the I Did it Creations Forum which is to use borders. It is hard to see in the photo but I used an old Creative Memories sticker border just above the brown paper. If you haven't been over to their forum it's a great place to earn points that lead to discounts toward the Outlaw Women Scrapbook Emporium. So go check it out or ask me questions in the comments field and I'll get you going in the right direction.

Logan’s Birthday Cake-It’s Not Easy Being Green scrapbook layout

Updated July 13, 2021. Again on 3-17-23
The challenge that I am referring to, is no longer around.

In the challenge at The Sisterhood of Scrap, you need to use the word green or the color green in your title. I love this little saying by Kermit the frog and how it fits with my cousin's boy's cake. TFL.

This layout is from a sketch on papercraftplanet.com. They post a sketch weekly in the Scrappy Sunday group. The stamps are by SU; title by MME; paper by CM, DCWV, Deja views, Sunborn; ink by Colorbox and ribbon by Wyla.
