Shine! - Millions and Millions FLEXI
(Baz McHat Records – [MCHAT 01], 1989) [ENG]

Another rather obscure English indie pop group, Shine!, with a Flexi-Disc release from 1989 on Baz McHat Records. Nice C86/Jangle Pop sound. Two catchy tunes that probably deserved a lot more play than they ever properly received!

BORN AGAINST & SUCKERPUNCH - SPLIT FLEXI (EBULLITION RECORDS [BY-PRODUCT #10,000] 1991) [USA]

Born Against & Suckerpunch - Split FLEXI
(Ebullition Records – [By-Product #10,000], 1991) [USA]

A split 8" Flexi Disc release between Born Against and Suckerpunch. I absolutely love the spoken word piece here by Born Against (and I'm assuming written and spoken by Sam McPheeters, who always has a way with words). All time classic. As sad and maddening as it is, the spoken word piece is very timely and relevant today in 2024 as it was in 1991. Unfortunately.

In the late 80s / early 90s a Spanish indie pop label and fanzine, Stamp, released three FLEXI discs featuring an UK indie pop group paired with a Spanish indie pop group. The three flexis were the labels only releases. Earlier in the blog I already posted the flexi of Jesse Garon & The Desperadoes with Los Vegetales. Going to share the two other release now, starting first with this one of St. Christopher and El viaje de las flores

Later in 2014, another Spanish indie pop label, Discos Walden, released the three Spanish tracks that previously appeared on their own 7" record.
