FIW French

So as promised I found a few spare minutes to take some pictures of the last lot of FIW french line infantry. These have again been very quickly painted with black and white undercoat and dip used.

FIW & AWI progress

have finished the AWI Grenadiers and started on the light gun, also you can see the rest of my rangers on the movement trays we have bought to put the Indian units in. Off for a two week summer hols so no painting for a few weeks (not that this blog has shown much of my painting in the last month).

Foundry AWI British

These figures are starting to look like a cracking unit, I have 6 more to finish. As you can see I have started adding bits to the movement trays and will base the whole lot together.

AWI WIP2

Cracking on with these two now, I have used a dark rust colour for the base of the red then flat red and then add a light bronzed flesh for highlights. The white is using P3 paints with a final pure white highlight.
