Chats on the Farmhouse Porch

It is once again time to head over to Patrice's from Everday Ruralty for our weekly chat.

This Week's Questions:

  1. What did you have for breakfast this morning?
  2. What's your favorite kind of juice?
  3. Have you tried Pinterest yet?
  4. I can't wait for __________ from my garden (or farmers' market/CSA/neighbor with green thumb).
  5. The worst job I ever had was __________________.
My answers:
  1. The usual - coffee!
  2. Cranberry.
  3. Yes I have -  haven't really spent a lot of time there but looks like something I could get into if I ever have time.
  4. I can't wait for cucumbers from my garden - or green beans - or tomatoes - or spinach - or brussel sprouts - or zucchini - or summer squash - or, or, or............
  5. The worst job I ever had was waitressing - definitely not cut out for that.

  1. I use pinterest as a shoe box for all those things that I want to revisit. Occasionally, I will see what others have pinned, but mostly I use it just for storage or good stuff.

  2. I like cranberry juice too. I enjoyed waitressing and worked in a town where there were lots of tourists, so I actually made good money. It's for the young. My patience isn't what it was back then. You are not the only one who said coffee for breakfast. My whole day is off if I don't eat a breakfast. Everybody's metabolism is different.I guess I really need to eat by then because I seldom eat after about 6pm. I'm like you with Pinterest. It looks like fun, but I just don't have the time.Have a good rest of the week!

  3. I like cranberry juice but only occasionally. It's just a bit too tart but I don't like it mixed with other juices, either.

I did some waitressing, too. I loved it! Maybe it depends on where you worked?

  4. Cucumbers are another veggie favorite for me. Oh I would hate to be a waitress! My DD is a waitress, but she loves it. She makes great tips, too. I guess she's good at her job.

  5. I like cranberry juice in my Christmas punch--with champagne. LOL I wish something would grow in my garden besides tomatoes and peppers. Not that those aren't fabulous, but I want more! :)
