We went to visit our oldest son and his family at the end of June. My HUBS and I rarely if ever travel, so this trip was a pretty big deal for us. We went to Wetumpka, Al. We got to see our grands. They were busy with jobs and teenager things. Adult kids were busy with work as well. Everybody is too busy.
From there we went to Corryton, Tenn. to the Oakes day lily festival. We love day lilies and Hubs has about 150 day Lillie plants in flower beds and pots. This is one of out favorite places to order day lilies. We had a great time viewing all the lilies. So many nice folks with their dogs. Many acres of flowers, a country band, hot dogs, games for the kids and all around nice family place to visit.
