Happy birthday, Jasper!

 

Our krazy kitty Jasper is 16 today! Happy birthday, you big ball of fluff and attitude - we love you!

Headful of halos

I took these photos of a fantastic halo around the sun when I was at work this morning. We'd had thick fog since the early hours but the sun briefly shone through and created this beautiful effect. An amazing light shining through the gloom? Please say it's a sign. I think we could all do with some sunnier times ahead.

Not to be outdone, Jasper also had a photo opportunity with his own halo. He doesn't often get called angelic, but he looks very handsome here...

A Swift in Time

 

A couple of days ago, Time magazine named Taylor Swift as their Person Of The Year, so what better, er, time to post some gorgeous photos of the beautiful and super-talented Ms Swift ( and, of course, her cat Benjamin Button. )

Mother's Day? Again?

That moment when you start to write a Mother's Day card to your wife from the cat then realise you weren't wearing glasses when you bought it and it says "Nana" on the front and you wonder if you can blame the cat...

Farewell to our Hero

A couple of days ago we said a sad final farewell to our beloved Hero. He was the most handsome, regal, slinkiest black cat ever, a Prince amongst felines. There's now a huge hole in our lives and we will miss him always.
