Sadie has done so well with her swim lessons this summer. I have been very impressed with the program and teachers and i would have never guessed that by this time she would already be swimming all by herself! She loves the water and can not get enough.

Pictures from the 4th
Like I said on the 4th of July Post i didn't take pictures, but thankfully my cute neighbor did. Thankyou Heather! So these are the kids who lines up to run the race and then there is Sadie just running her little heart out. Man i love her!

July 4th 2008
I didn't take any pictures over the 4th so i have nothing to show for it but we did have a good day. It started with a neighborhood bike parade for the kids followed by a breakfast. David was working all day so he missed out on the morning events but that evening there was a 1k Fun Run for the kids around the neighborhood, and it turned out so cute. The kids registered for it and got numbers for thier shirts and then ran just over a 1/2 mile. I was sure Sadie was gonna go maybe 5 homes and stop but she just kept following the kids and ran her little heart out! I was so proud of her. When she crossed the finish line her little cheeks were all rosy and she said that was fun but i don't want to do it again. :) After that we headed to the fire works with my family and of course the kids loved it, it was a good show.
The next day we went to my grandpas 80th birthday party and in all my preperation for it i forgot to remind my cute husband that it was a SURPRISE party. So of course the 1st thing dave says when he sees grandpa is Happy Birthday. We all give him the look of death and Shhhhsh him and so (to change the subject or what ever,) Daves next comment was.... (it was a Hawaiian theme so grandpa had a lei on)... looks like you got laid! WHAT? Did you really just say that to my grandpa? It was pretty funny and ackward all at the same time. I felt bad i didn't remind him. But come to find out Grandma had already told grandpa and he was just pretending he didn't know, so it wasn't so bad after all.
