13th Award

I have been passed my 13th blogging award. Dorothy at Counting My Blessings gave me this award. I feel very honored to have received another award. Dorothy left me a wonderful comment to let me know about the award. Dorothy and I regularly visit each other, she has a been a great supporter to me as I began this journey of blogging. isn't it a beautiful award?I will post this award on my left side bar with my other awards, but I am not going to pass it forward.

I hope I will not hurt any body's feelings but I am going to have to stop participating in the blogging awards. My life has been quite hectic since I started blogging. I am a supervisor in the telecommunications field handling 3 states (it would take a long explanation of what I actually do). November 18 I will be adding 3 additional states to my current responsibilities. My husband is working out of town 5 days a week. The other bloggers in this situation understand what a responsibility that adds to the person left at home to run the household, meant for 2 people. We do have 2 acres here at our home. I try to go be with my husband a couple of days a week, so that adds more to what I get accomplished the other days during the week. Now we have just bought another house which is going to require a LOT of work, so who even knows how much I will be down there during all of this. That house is 82 miles from the current one, and my husband will be living in it during the week for the next 5 to 6 years.

I do post a minimum of 2 post a day., and the '2nd home' is not going to have Internet access. Can't afford it at 2 houses anymore than anybody else can. Anybody that has passed awards along knows how much time it does take to do so. I feel the awards are taking so much time away from me posting what I started out to do with this blog. So please honor my request. If I do receive awards in the future I will place them on my sidebar with acknowledgement to the person I received it from, but will not pass them along.

As I said above, I do not mean to hurt any body's feelings with this and hope I have not.

This award was given to me by Dorothy and then before I could pass it along Darla also gave it to me. I was on vacation so it has taken me a little longer to pass it along. Both Dorothy and Darla have been a real encourgement along the way, when I am thinking "what is the purpose of this anyway?" they come along and leave such wonderful comments and then pass this award along to me. I really do feel honored to have received another award.

9th Blogging Award

I received this award from Richard while I was on vacation. I guess it because I try to scribble something with each post. I am suppose to pass the award along to worthy bloggers.

I am going to pass this award to Ecobirder because he does more than attempt to scribble. His blog is very informative about the subjects he loves. His blog is not just about birds. He has lots of mammals, dragonflies, and butterflies.

6th blog award

This award came right back at me, from The Tile Lady. I am like Darla was about a week ago, don't have a clue who to forward it to now. I greatly appreciate the award, but I have just given to so many people. It is hard to pass it along without repeating myself.

So this time I am just going to acknowledge the wonderful award and enjoy blogging some more.

I have burned my left hand this morning with boiling water, and I write with my left hand. Thank goodness I am unusual, I do everything else with my right hand. I am just thankful I already had post ready for the next several days.

I have received my 4th award and 5th award at the same time. I am so amazed that I am being recognized again for my photography. It really encourages me. I was trying to decide who to pass award number 4 to when I realized I had received the same award from another blogging buddy. I thought it was a Sky Watch Friday photograph when I first saw it (it would be a great one!), and it might have been at one time.

My first blog award

Wednesday evening I received my very first blog award. Thank you Sara G for the recognition. It came as such a surprise. I just found Sara G's blog earlier this week, and enjoyed her photos. When I went to her blog to see what she was talking about, I see she has also listed my blog on her blog list. Thank you Sara G.

My first award goes to Articulate On Paper, which is my daughter's writing blog. Without her introduction to blogging I would have never begun this blogging adventure. Her stories keeping me laughing.
