Pinkalicious Party

Mya has been in love with the book Pinkalicious for the past few months.  She makes us read it multiple times per day and has almost every word memorized.  When we started talking about a birthday party, I gave her a few ideas of what we could do, but the only one she got excited about was a Pinkalicious party with pink, pink, pink!  So that's what she got.  We had pink decorations, pink desserts, pink games, and even pink clothes.  The girl may be a little too in love with the color pink, but she loved all the pink and especially loved being the center of attention.

Two Years Ago

Two years ago today this precious baby came into our lives.  She has been such a blessing from the beginning!

One Year Ago

I am amazed by how much she has changed over the last two years in both looks and abilities.

2 Years Old!

I think I can safely say I have loved (almost) every little bit of the last two years.  

Her little personality is shining through like crazy these days and what a great personality it is.  

She is so full of life!  

She is happy almost all the time and always has a ton of energy.  

She is quick to giggle and laugh and loves to have fun.

She is a sweetheart!  

She gets worried when anyone gets sad and always wants to make them feel better.

For the most part, she is so good to share and is happy to let other people use her things.

She is super independent and always wants to do things by herself.

She's a little smarty pants and learns so much all the time!

She is so friendly, and definitely not afraid of strangers.  She loves to interact with other people and is always making friends wherever she goes.

Although she can be a bit defiant at times, she always wants to be good and tries so hard to make us happy.

She is a joy to be around and makes everyone around her happier.

We love this rambunctious little girl and are so grateful for her sweet little spirit!

Big Girl Bed

First few nights in the big girl bed have been a success!  

Even nap time has gone off without a hitch so far. 

So many changes for my baby girl!

And speaking of babies, this room is starting to show signs of becoming a nursery.  Time to get serious about another baby coming!  Only three months to go. . .

Today was a big day!

Some of you may remember 5 long weeks ago when I posted these pictures on instagram:

Well I am happy to report that the huge bear has finally made its way off of my fridge!  We gave up on the five star chart ages ago when I realized it wasn't going to be as easy as going on the toilet five times before things "clicked".  No where near that easy.  But Mya has now been accident free for over a week and today was the day that "Big Bear" got to come down.  It was a very happy day full of squeals and giggles as she played with her new friend.

I'm so proud of that little munchkin and so happy to no longer be cleaning out poopy underwear!
