Als einen der "unabhängigsten Klaviergeister der Gegenwart" titelte "Die Zeit" den französischen Pianisten David Fray, dessen Bach-Einspielungen mit zwei Klassik-Echos in Folge prämiert wurden. Im Rahmen der Salzburger Pfingstfestspiele spielt er am 7. Juni Werke von Rossini, Liszt, Schubert und natürlich Bach.

Franz Liszt: La charite aus "2 Transcriptions d’apres Rossini" S. 553 nach Nr. 3 aus "3 Choeurs religieux von Giachino Rossini"
