ACTA Norman Infantry 2

I painted this figure from "A CallTo Arms" some time ago but didn't post him here. The first of this set was painted in 2016 (ACTA Norman Infantry), so it's about time the other 3 poses will follow. This one is ready, two more to go. I hope you like him.

A Call To Arms Confederate Infantry

I waited very long time to paint these figures but now I finally managed to get them done. And so my Confederate army is growing very slowly. Pity enough I have only four of these as I bought them second handed because these were a joy to paint. And I really like how the blankets turned out. I hope you like them to.

ACTA Norman Infantry

It was my intention to post an update on the Arnhem Group Build Project, but because I will have some surgery done on my back (hernia) I decided to post something small. So only one figure to show today but it is a big one (54 mm).

I bought this set last year just for fun. The box contains 16 figures in four different poses. As they are made from hard plastic, I don't know if modifications on the figures will be possible. I was thinking to try something with hot water, but I'm not sure if it will work. One thing I can do is to change the position of the shields. The one I'm showing here is painted as test figure. I used the color scheme that was on the back of the box.

PS: Cause of the surgery I don't know when I be able to do a next post. It all depends on when and how! Just keep on watching!

ACTA AWI British Grenadier 1

The figure I present today is a test painted 1/32 figure from A Call To Arms. He will be used as opponent for my two, so far, Revell American Militia men ( one and two ). The figure is very nice sculpted and painted up very well. Lots of little details, that could be seen good.

Drinking on duty?

That was the title of a contribution in the duelling section on Benno's Figure Forum . It was a duel against  Paul from Paul's Bods. And you know what? I won! Yeah!

Fairness is that I have to tell that the contribution was also very good and funny. You can have a look at it here!

The rules were:

- Two figures
- One or both kicking
- Little scene
- Two pictures.

Fact is we wanted to make something funny, and get people to laugh. I think we managed in our objective. But decide for yourself and have a look at it!

The Three Tenors

It's been a while I posted something here, but I've been busy to create some things for the upcoming event on the 4th of june, at Goor in the Netherlands, called FIGZ.

The Three Tenors is made for a duel I had with my good friend Rich from West Models and Figures. I was up against his Hold your nerve!. And he has beaten me well!

On Patrol

This time some figures and a little vignette of the English Civil War (ECW). It all started with some other guys by painting figures as comparison. And this was the result:

But I found this guy a bit lonely, so I started to create a little dio with some friends of him. They are situated somewhere on a hill, on patrol. It became my favourite work.

The figures are from A Call To Arms, these sets:
