Fun at the beach.

Yesterday was a nice sunday. Griet had her birthday and we (Griet, Huguette, Eliana and me) went to the beach. Poor Rien had to work... so he couldn't join us. As we walked at the beach a certain moment Eliana fell, and her pants were all wet... poor kid. Well, she didn't mind, and we had fun too cause she repeats everything we say now. So, she had to walk in her "blote billen". So all along the way she was talking about "ote illen" or something similar...

Well our coats made sure she didn't end up having cold though. And along the way we still enjoyed yummy crêpes with hot chocolate.....

Of course when getting back, we still wanted to do something with Rien as well, since he would have finished working then, and we wouldn't be real Belgians if we didn't try out some fries.

Today, I went to Océade, a tropical swimming pool in Brussels with some friends of church. We had a very nice time.

Saturday I got my party, sunday it was my real birthday. It also was "open monumenten dag" in Belgium. A day where you can visit all sorta buildings. In the morning I went visiting the new cityhall in Menen. But I didn't feel like visiting more in the afternoon. So, I went to a gospelconcert. I liked it a lot, and I also got their new cd. (one song I heard already over and over again while driving to my work this week) In the evening I went with some close friends to my favorite restaurant in Brugge. It was very nice to end this day like that.

Last saturday was a super nice sabbath. We had sabbathschool and ate together and in the afternoon we had a nice walk. Several people from the Netherlands came over, since I had my party in the evening. I had nice talks, although I was a little stressed in the evening, (I wanted everything to be perfect) it was a real nice day.

ATS-weekend

Rianne and me went to the ATS-weekend last week-end. This time I did take my good camera with me, but... lol believe it or not, I didn't take any picture of the ATS-event. Well, I did take some on friday-evening. Rianne showed me how she could play the accordion, and I could try it once as well.

On sabbath we really had a busy day... hmmm... are sabbaths a day of rest? lol.... we 1st drove to Rotterdam North were we listened to Karl Wilcox, at 11am we left for a baptism in another town. Jeaneth a girl of our e-mailbiblestudygroup got baptised. Then back to Rotterdam North, and in the evening still to another place. Well, it was all worth it, we heard really interesting stuff.

Sunday the ATS-meeting was held in Huis ter Heide, it was more sort of a workshop, pretty interesting as well... a pretty tiring weekend, luckily I have off this week!

buzy days....

Well, I haven't posted stuff yet for a while. A lot has happened though. The last week-end of august Debora had her birthdayparty. We all had a very nice time. My grandmother got 85 year that day as well, and of course we went and visited her. My mom just came back from vacation for that reason. On sunday we went kayaking at Dinant. I had taken a disposable camera, cause I didn't want my good ones give a chance to get wet... but... when I was there I realised I had taken one with me where there were no more pictures left to take .... duhhhhh.... Wel, someone did have one with him, but haven't gotten the pictures yet where I asked for, so... this entry will be without a picture. Yeps, that's like not me, being a picturefreak.
