Treshing...

One day we were in a little village called: ID BELHADJ. There we saw a man that was treshing with 3 donkeys and 2 cows. The poor animals have to walk in cirles all day. We were told that there was still 2 months work... Don't wanne trade with these animals. It was an old man that was doing the job, but Hafid and me took over for the picture...

Again on the camel

Hafid had never been on a camel either. So it was his turn to ride with one. He didn't wanne ride alone, so I was lucky to join him. Here you see a similar lay-out.

On a camel

What Rianne and me really wanted to do, was to sit on a camel. On the beach of Aglou we had the opportunity for that. Rianne had already been on one in Egypt. For me it was the 1st time. Kind off scary when that animal goes standing... a real experience.

At the beach

The 1st wednesday we were there, we went to Abdou's family with a bunch of people. Abdou lives near the beach. It's actually a beach with rocks. So, since we were there we had to see the rocks and the sea as well.

The Souk

The Souk is held every wednesday in Tiznit. You see a lot of delicious fruits and veggies. And they taste much better then over here as well, since everything grows in Morocco and it's much much more sunnier over there.

Morocco

Most people have still to take their holidays, mine are already over... well, not totaly, I actually still have 2 weeks left, but it won't be to take them in July or August.

My trip to Morocco was wonderful. It was an awesome experience. I won't write a day by day report here, but I'm making an album and I'll show the results here from time to time with some explanation.

On this 1st one you see Abou, he's making yummy tajine. Tajine is a lokal speciality in Morocco, and it's prepared in a special pot. The food over there was delicious. And we ate the Tajine as it's the habit over there... all hands in the same pot, no plates, no forks, no knives, but with bread that you dip into the Tajine.
