Cherry Blossoms Have Opened 櫻花開了

Last Friday cherry blossoms started to open suddenly.

The right tree is a horse chestnut. It is still sleeping.

I am not  good at taking its pink into a photo. This one is better.

30% of the buds have opened in a single day.

The location of these ones is prevented from cold north winds. They were able to enjoy spring earlier than others.

 

Plum Blossoms In a Warm Breeze

February and March are the season of plum blossoms.

Cherries are gorgeous and plums are noble.

This is an andromeda tree. Have you ever seen it? 

It has little white pot-shaped flowers without any fragrance. I hope you enjoy spring in good health.

The Good Time To Taste Strawberries 一種日本草莓

Some bloggers in East and South East Asia post photos of strawberries imported from Japan.

I noticed that they are produced in the southern Japan. The reason would be that delivery from the south can save time and keep freshness than from the north.

I got this kind of strawberry produced in the northern Japan, called Skyberry. Its characteristics are a big size and high sweetness. The largest is almost the size of an egg.

 

I like the red of this kind.

Sweet For the Girl's Day

3rd March is the Girl's Day. People eat this colorful snack on this day.
