Grey Heron 蒼鷺

I took a walk along the stream. The temperature was 12℃ or 54°Ｆ. It's very warm. I found a grey heron standing in the stream, took two pictures in a hurry by my smartphone.

This is the second one. The heron had already started walking. Then I tried the third but it flied away. For herons, I was an intruder to disturb their meals. People visit this park walking a long wooden path along the stream. Fishing is prohibited. Birds can get more and bigger fishes here with irritation. Or they may be used to this artificial environment with less irritation.

Water ripples....

I hope they don't get infected with bird flu.

 

The Scent In Coldness

Plum blossoms have started blooming. 

I went to see them yesterday at 3℃ or 37°F. Though this winter is warmer than usual, it's been very cold in these few days. We have been accustomed to this warm winter. A slight temperature ｄrop makes us feel terribly cold.
