One day at a time

Alhamdulillah today I am fully recovered. No more heat, just sore throat. It will be gone in a few days. Right now, my voice is like somebody who had shouted all the way out when singing in a concert until the vocal cord snapped! Hmmm... who cares, I'm not Cat Stevens or Ramli Sarip...

Well, I just had a mouthful dinner with Omar Bhutta. A nice lad, and I hope that he will the next who's who in the community in near future. Insha Allah.

We had lengthy conversation, chiefly on local and world issues. Well, that's basically almost everything, isn't it? To be honest, it was just about how we should lead our life.

Wow, being alive is one thing. Living out of it is another. Agreeing is one thing. Agree to disagree? Wow that's kinda tough, though. Heh, seperti kata Ned Kelly yang masih teringat hingga sekarang - 'Such is life'. I guess I have to take it one day a time...

Hmmm... we're living in the times where ignorance is totally a bliss (also a bless?). The times where rhetorics are being understood as the truth. Why? Because we do not know how to be aware which one is which.

'You can't bargain with the truth, cause one day you gonna die, and goods going high... and evils going down, in the end...'

Hmmm... I need to get back to my Public Health project... because I think I see the light of it just now...

Few updates...

Semenjak dua menjak ini Dublin memang sejuk sampaikan ada yang jadi kurang sihat (termasuklah aku). Memang musim winter betullah...

Tarikh-tarikh exam sudah pun diumumkan di intranet. Seperti semester sudah, kita ada TOSCE (team OSCE), dan written exams. Nasib baik ada gap antara paper, kalau tak pancit jugalah. Apa-apapun, yang penting, semuanya akan berakhir pada 25 Januari nanti.

Pada waktu itu, (malah sekarang pun), fikiran dah melayang ke PMC sana... tapi buat masa ini berangan-angan ke Turki - Istanbul, Ankara, Urfa, Antalya, Konya, Ephesus, Antakya, Bursa, Kocaeli, Edirne...

Oh ya, kelmarin rumah saya menganjurkan rumah terbuka. Menu - Nasi Briyani + Kuah Dhal + Acar, Ayam Panggang Coriander, Chicken Wings, Agar-agar dan Cheesecake, untuk minum air Sarsaparila. Turnout? 250-ish, tapi mungkin kurang sedikit sebab secara purata tetamu makan 3-5 round... kerana terlampau sedapnya hidangan kami... heheh.

Kami mula masak pada tengah malam sebelumnya sampai pukul 3 lebih, kemudian berehat sampai subuh sebelum dapur kami sibuk sepanjang hari... nasib baik ketuhar itu tak rosak sebab sentiasa dinyalakan untuk panggang ayam...
