SJ Games has released a draft version of the errata and FAQ for OGRE Designer's Edition. Besides fixing some typos and clarifying some rules, there was one notable change included: increasing the amount of defending units when playing the scenario with two Mark III Ogres attacking.
I think this is a good thing. The last time I played the defenders in this scenario, my opponents were easily able to take out my command post, although I did kill one attacking Ogre. By increasing the number of additional defenders from two more armor units to eight more armor units, and adding six squads of infantry, this scenario will be a lot more competitive--and against two cybertanks, you'll need all the help you can get.

Missing ship stats
| I need stats for the Valiant-class galactic dreadnought. |
Then I remembered; a few months ago, maxmike mentioned in this comment that Superior Models released the Terran Valiant--and its Carnivoran-equivalent, the Jaguar--right as the miniatures company was going out of business. He said the only source of stats for these ships was a retail flyer from the manufacturer, long since lost in the mists of time.
So, anyone have a copy of that Superior handout with the new ship stats? Since the answer is probably "no," how about suggestions for statting out the Val (and the Jag) for Starfleet Wars?

GK errata: build points
| Constellation-class attack carrier |
While going through the earliest messages on the Galactic Knights Yahoo group (why, no, I don't have a life; thanks for asking) I found a message from the game's author in response to a question from a player. The author noted the Design Chart I on page 35 of the rulebook contains an error: The number of build points for a Terran attack carrier should be 230-360 BPs; not 200-300 BPs. (Actually, based on the ranges of build points for the other ship types, I think the carrier should start at 231 BPs, and the destroyer should start at 46 BPs instead of 45.)
Since the GK rulebook contains other errors, and I don't think there's a single place that has all the corrections, as I come across more errata for the game, I will note it on this blog. If anyone comes across other errors, please let me know.
