しばらく練習さえもしていないのにレースに参加する筆者。カメラを木村氏に託す。

これはレースが終わってトラックから出るところの写真。待ってるところと終わったところの写真のみ。チーン。ま、ド・下手に輪が掛かっていたから別にいーんだけど。

ちなみに筆者とMスミ嬢の後ろからくるドデカなバガーはRoland Sands氏。ダートであんなおっきなものに追いかけられたり抜かされたりする恐ろしさたるや・・・

we all moved about an hour north from Santa Maria to Cayucos. Go is prepping for tomorrow's ride. soldering his fuel tank. in our motel room. on Cheetah's fancy suitcase 😆

さて、サンタ・マリアからさらに北上すること1時間、カユコスに移動。明日のライドに備えてインディアンの燃料タンクをはんだ付けするGTカミネ氏。しかも他人の部屋で。チーターOサワ氏の高級スーツケースを台に。ワルだな。

picked up the 1956 BSA Gold Star for our best friend. it makes us super happy to be able to see and touch the great bike in person even it wasn't ours and so happy for our friend.

親友がついにBSA Gold Starを手に入れた。我々は彼の代わりにそそくさとそれをピックアップに出かけた。自分のじゃなくても素敵なオートバイを間近に感じれるだけでハッピー。

annual Cycleman ride...

6th annual CCR with special friends. this year, in addition to the team Cycleman, Mr. and Mrs. Yano of Lynch Silversmith from Kobe and now L.A. based WBC Asia Continental heavyweight champ Rio Hidaka are with us. Although, champ is a motorcycle rider, he's banned to ride so he had to follow us in El Camino with Wata. what a torture! 

毎年恒例となっております、第6回CCR(Cycleman Canyon Ride)。 主要メンバーは決まっていますが、毎回ゲストが変わります。今年は2回目の参戦、神戸からLynch Silversmith　のYノ氏と奥様のK子さん、そしてLA在住のWBCアジア・ヘビー級チャンピョン、Rio Hidaka氏。世界チャンピョンを目指すチャンプはオートバイ禁止令が出ております故、エルカミーノでの拷問スットコライド。さすが精神も強い。

オフロードのオートバイをどっさり積み込んだブラット・スタイルのフォードヴァンとチャボのダッジヴァンが火星に到着。

shinya assigned Cheetah of 4 Dimensions Studio Tokyo the BSA B50 with road tyres on and said "we are going to ride in the deep sand and rocky road but i know you are a great rider, so you'll be ok!" and then he took the IT175 for himself.

これから砂地と岩山攻めだというのに一人だけロード仕様のタイヤはいてるBSAを振り当てられるターチー（Cheetah 4d studioのOサワ氏）。「ターチーは何でも乗れるから大丈夫」と言いながら、ご自分はバリバリオフ車のIT175をチョイスする木村氏。

砂の上で水を得た魚となるGTカミネ氏。砂かけマンに変身。

artist Fusty of Fusty Works was assigned to MY NEW XR185(200) that is now down on the ground. hey, i haven't ridden it yet!

画家のFusty（Fusty WorksのKン・Sギハラ氏）は筆者のニュー・マスィンXR185改200を振り当てられている。そう、今地面に倒れてるやつ。筆者はまだ一度も乗ってないのにぃ～

back to our base after a long journey in the sand and rocky road.

岩ゴロとスナスナ地獄地帯の長旅から基地に戻る。

全部のオートバイを試さずにはいられないGTカミネ氏。

すり鉢コースを見つけたら試さずにはいられないGTカミネ氏。

ターチー（Oサワ氏）に力作XT185改200を乗ってみるように勧める木村氏。

「何これ？XR楽しい！」とはしゃぐターチー（Oサワ氏）。ロード仕様のBSAで砂道岩山を走った後だから尚更。
