canyon ride. our monday canyon ride club mate brought his RD250/350.

月曜山乗りクラブの部長のB級グルメ王がRD250改350で誘いにやって来た。

 we took our SR500 and the Le Mans III.

canyon ride round 2 in the late afternoon. this time, shinya took the XLCR for a test ride.

夕方、XLCRのテストライドと称して山乗り2ラウンド目。何度でも気持ち良い。

山から戻ってXL125の伸ばしたハンドルをチェック。長いし。

来ちゃった ♥ 火星。ほとんどホンダ、1台トライアンフ。

with our accomplices Kiyo and Kat. just spent the whole day in the dirt.

コソ練仲間のKヨナガズと、日がな一日ひたすら乗りまくる。意味などない。

were extremely satisfied.

満足、満足。

Honda XR185/200, Honda XL 125 and XL100.

ホンダ勢ぞろい。そろそろ土が恋しいなあ。

lucky come come...

named my XR185/200 "lucky come come" and couldn't help doodling on the tank 👅

XR185/200をラッキーカムカム号と名付けた。練習よりも運に頼る方式。そしてそれをタンクに描かずにはいられなかったので描いた 👅

orange is the new black...

flat track monday. shinya is going to make a hot shoe for my new boot and install the more flat fuel tank on my XR185/200. 

筆者の新しいブーツ用にホットシューを作ってくれる木村氏。ついでにXRのタンクももう少し低めのやつにしてくれるらしい。下手っぴなのに注文が多いと文句を言いながら。

looking good ✌ actually, this orange tank was originally on my Triumph Thunderbird when i got it.

おお、カッコイイではないか ✌ 実はこのタンク、もともとトライアンフ・ビワ号についていたものを使い回しております・・・

it just happened to be this way because shinya made these two motorbikes mainly out of things we had at our workshop but it looks like my favorite color is orange now 😺 very eco-friendly indeed.

両車両ともチャボに転がっているものをかき集めて作ってくれたのだけど、いつの間にかオレンジ色が大好きな人っぽくなっている。とても環境にやさしい再利用大作戦なわけで、決してド・ケチなわけじゃないと信じて疑わない。うん、ぜんぜん疑っていない。

back on the lake bed...

came to El Mirage dry lake. we've been on the lake bed to race so many times but don't know much about the surrounding OHV area so let's have fun!

レースではいつも来ているけど実はあまり探検したこがない、エルミラージ・ドライレークやその周辺のトレイルを開拓しに来てみた。

it looks like a flat land but we were actually looking down the lake bed from a hill.

平坦に見えるけど、実はまあまあの高さの丘からドライレークを見下ろしているところ。

Niimie's MX360 started acting up...however, i didn't worried because whatever happens, i know they can do something about it.

N美氏のMX360の掛りが突然悪くなる。が、この二人だったら何とかなるだろうという安心感。

even in the middle of nowhere.

距離感、スケール感が狂ってしまうほどの広大さ。

hours of riding, hills and the basin, back to the staging area.

数時間探索した後、基地に戻る。

looks like Niimie's MX360 is done for the day.

N美氏のMX360は本日はこれで終了の模様。

Niimie goes wild...

so, Niimie has been looking for his own dirt riding bike these past couple days, found the one he wanted on C-list, went to see it, fell in love and brought it back with him.

さて、ご自分のダートバイクが欲しくなって探しまくっていたN美氏、かなり好みで格安の一台を近所で発見。とりあえず見に行き、もちろん連れて帰ってきた。

 he also found a TT500 and picked up...

これはTT500。近所の別の所で見つけてしまったN美氏。

 all yellow Yamahas...

全部ヤマハ、全部黄色の黄レンジャーN美。

 he's unstoppable :p

外れたタガは二度と戻らない。

 the TT was a bargain because it needed some work.

このTTが格安だったのは、少々手を入れなくちゃならない状態だったから。

 but to Niimie, it doesn't mean anything.

もちろん、N美氏にとってはそんなのどーってことない。

everyone is enjoying Niimie's new toy :)
