I'm a huge fan of storage and organizational items, and they're even better when they're made from upcycled things! My Love 2 Create turned some old deck wood into this great (and portable!) laundry basket storage station. Amazing!
Addicted 2 DIY explains how she made this awesome pedestal for her washer and dryer. I love the extra built-in storage that it provides!
Don't Disturb This Groove turned an embroidery hoop into a hamper for her son's room! What a great way to save floor space, but keep the dirty clothes off the floor.
A Big Story turned a thrifted chicken coop into laundry room storage. What a fun way to add some character to an otherwise drab room.
I always get a little jealous when I see those big, spacious, gorgeous laundry rooms floating around on Pinterest. I'm blessed with a teeny tiny laundry closet that's attached to our kitchen and pantry. But seeing this awesome makeover from Hoot Designs has definitely given me some inspiration to try and make it a little cuter and more organized!
If you've got a useless laundry chute in your house like Exploring Domesticity, then this blog post is for you. She turned her chute into some useful bathroom storage!
My son loves to fly paper air planes, but I'm not very good at folding them. They just do a nose dive. Next time my boy asks me to fold a paper airplane, I'll be trying out the World's Best Paper Airplane technique from I Dig Pinterest.
I only have one child, but he sure can be messy! He also loves chocolate ice cream. Not a good combination. I was just doing some stain removal to get some of his old clothes ready to sell and I think chocolate ice cream stains made up at least half of the stains I was trying to remove. I need this Laundry Stain Removal Guide hanging up in my laundry closet. Luckily, A Typical English Home included the removal process for chocolate!
This laundry table project from Keeping it Simple makes me WISH I had a set of front loaders so that I could have a laundry table too! I love the color of the custom shelf they built to go with it...and I'm drooling over the vinyl she added too!!!
I've seen vinyl decals on KitchenAid mixers, dishwashers, and fridges, but never on a washer and dryer before. I think it's usually one of those unseen appliances, which is maybe why it hasn't gotten much attention. However, I think it would make me a little extra happy to be doing laundry if everytime I opened the doors to my laundry room, I had these beauties greeting me! I just love this idea from DIY with Grant & Kiley!
Do you have a vinyl floor you abhor and wish could change, but you don't have the money? View Along The Way painted her vinyl floor in her adorable laundry room. LOVE IT! I want to try this, but I don't have any vinyl flooring!!!!
I'm a little envious of this nice looking drying rack inside Inspiration For Moms laundry room. It sure beats the rope that hangs across the middle of my laundry room:( I want this!!!!
Just A Girl created these awesome pedestals for her washer and dryer! It raises the machines up and provides more storage and organization. I'd definitely have my husband make these if I had front loading machines!!!
Look at what Being Brook did in her laundry room! Is that a dream or what? I would love to have something like this in my kids' toy room and in the mudroom (especially during the winter to keep track and organize gloves, boots, hats, etc.) I love the colors too!
