# I'm guessing these tracks are not in order of how they were played. At the end of the first track Spy Version he says "Thank you! Good night!" like it was the end of the show. I didn't re-arrange anything, I left it as it is on the tape. 

*The song King Darry's Rude Boy Rap flows directly into the song Wicked. I tried separating them but without any real line of demarcation it sounded terrible so I left it as one single track. There are ten songs on this tape but you'll see only nine in the download.

La Infinita - Last Train to Paradise (2014)

 This was a band from Southern California and, yes, they do play some of that Sublime-style reggae-rock but only in a couple songs. They do play legitimate ska as well as reggae. 

The song "Don't Let Me Down" is a Beatles cover and it's awesome.

Paul PK - Jumped the Gun 7" (1982)

 There is an established country artist in from London U.K. called Little Ginny who put out a few albums in the late 70s / early 80s. Her bass player was Paul Kirby. He played in bands of various genres and he was also a songwriter who dabbled in producing. Eventually Little Ginny and Paul got married. 

Since Paul was familiar with different genres of music he knew that the emerging ska/reggae sound of the late 70s/early 80s was a path worth taking.

He encouraged Little Ginny to record a ska/reggae song. So, in 1984, she did a ska cover of Don Gibson's 1961 hit Sea of Heartbreak but she didn't use the name "Little Ginny", she used the name Ginette for this record:

This may or may not have been inspired by Paul's own ska reggae single presented to you right here and one might even go so far as to say this reggae/ska record was inspired a bit by old country music.

It seems both of them just kind of faded from the world of music after this.

va Ni Jah Ni Maitre (1994)

 This is a compilation of ska and anarcho-reggae bands from France. I think the best tracks come from the most familiar names. I guess they're notable for a reason.

 The title of this comp is "No Gods No Masters" replacing "Jah" for "God". The phrase comes from the French author Daniel Guérin back when leftism was about anarchy and opposing government and corporatism. Unlike today when liberalism is all about abiding by what corporate television and corporate businesses like the big pharma companies tell you to do. The exact opposite of what it used to be.

 This is a laid back ska/reggae band from Sweden. This is everything I have by them which I believe is everything they ever released as a band with the exception of a self-titled EP that was released on a CD-R in 1999. I don't have that EP but if you have it...let's talk. I'm willing to buy or trade.

Stuck in a Groove - Beats in Your Mouth (1999)

 For fans of Sublime. There were a lot of copy-cat Sublime bands around this time but this Arizona band had more of their own sound compared to a lot of other bands from this era. So many of those bands sounded like they only listen to Sublime. This band sounds like they actually listen to reggae music and take their inspiration from other sources.

Fool Moon - Turn to Me 7" (1981)

 

Rare California ska/reggae with a horrible fake Jamaican accent. 

The band is called Fool Moon but the band's spearhead and vocalist put his name and face all over the record. If you don't know who Brad Dupont is then you're just ignorant.

I'm ignorant too. I don't know who the fuck he is. But his self-promotion game in 1981 was as good as it gets.

 This band was from Telluride, Colorado which has an elevation of 8,750 feet. They referred to themselves as the world's "highest reggae band".
