Got a day off, hanging out with my kids. They mostly did homework, but we were together.
Started reading the Star Trek Playtest Files from Modiphius.
And got the Early Access files for the Unity RPG.
Really, really good day.
So far, I like what I've seen of the changes made to the 2d20 system for Trek (I'm in the Next Generation era). Seems very smooth and I hope it play as well as it reads.
Unity has exceed my high expectations for it. The Early Access PDF is very professional and has great artwork. The rules are yelling at me to run them, and soon. The are like a neat marriage of DnD 4E and 13th Age (and no grid necessary).

Unity: Let's Unlock the Monk Class
The Unity Table Top RPG Kickstarter has 3 hours left.
I've just bumped my pledge to include the standard hardcover and collector's edition hardcover, the double-sided world map and Game Master's Screen.
If you haven't pledge take a look at this amazing game. Here is a link to the Sampler.
If you have pledged, take a look at the Collector's Edition, Screen, and Map to upgrade your pledge.
The Monk class is close to being unlocked and would be the game's 10th class. The image below shows everything that has been unlocked thus far.

Unity: Kickstarter In It's Final HOURS!
The Unity Table Top RPG is in its final 17 hours. It's just unlocked the Journey to Jade Mountain adventure that continues the stories of the other two adventures already provided.
Now, we just need to unlock the Monk! We can do this with your help.
I can't recommend this game enough, I've talked with it's designer and it's his enthusiasm that has made me truly look forward to running and playing Unity.

Unity: Kickstarter is in its final days!
The Unity Table Top RPG is in its final 40 hours. It's just unlocked a special supplement for 20 locales for the GM to use, Sarathi Lizardfolk, Nazrim Fell-Touched, and a race of the backer's choice.
The Monk class may still be unlocked, though!
This game looks incredible and I urge you to back it.

Unity: Primalist Class Preview
The Unity Table-Top RPG Kickstarter just gave us an awesome preview of the Primalist class, while also showing an example of a player leveling their class through level 5.
The Primalist is, essentially, a druid and balances Spirit and Ferocity to work magic and channel the primal powers of the animal kingdom, respectively.

Unity: Tower of Lightning Adventure Unlocked
A new stretch goal has unlocked the Tower of Lightning Stretch Goal for the Unity Table-Top RPG Kickstarter. The adventure has your characters facing off agains the Children of Steel
Tomorrow we are supposed to get a class preview with some kind of EXTRA bang.
If the Kickstarter hits $55K a PDF World Building supplant is unlocked.

The Kickstarter for the Unity Table Top RPG just released an update featuring the Driftwalker Class (think DnD's Warlock).

Masters of the Universe + Unity = Brainstorming!
I have a habit of brainstorming about games before they come out. It's almost as strong a habit is combing threw posts about a game's system to figure it out before it's released. Yeah, it's weird. But, I did it with Primeval Thule and Shadow of the Demon Lord, as examples.
I don't know much about Unity's default setting, but I know that what I've seen of the characters and system make me think of Eternia from Masters of the Universe. As anyone who reads this blog much knows, I'm a BIG fan of He-Man. I'm also a big fan of introducing my player's to a setting they have some familiarity with.
So, I've been thinking about setting a Unity game in Eternia's ancient past, at least as far back as the time of King Greyskull or even older.
The Valla are the Sy-Klone's ancestors who will one day settle Anwat-Gar.
Maybe the Afflicted are the Pelezean ancestors of Stinkor? Maybe they're Orko's Trolla race?
In fact, going back to the days that Skeletor was a demon, his race could be Unity's Fell.
Obviously, I'm in a cart before the horse situation, but well, some people knit or work on engines, I plan games.
I think I'd import 13th Age's One Unique Thing, but tie it to a once per scene ability. Y'know just to keep the flavor of the Masters.
