Rawr! This Seal Bites Back!

Farmpunk and I have been playing Flames of War pretty consistently since last November. But we'd never been to a Flames tourney until this weekend. Our cherry-popper was a 2-day, 5-round event over at Games 2 Die For on the west side of town. There were only 10 players (8 didn't show due to storm damage in the midwest), but 4 of those are in the top-100 for the national rankings. Tough crowd! In fact Able Company, the local club, is the top-ranked American FOW club on Rankings HQ. Seems like we're a hotbed of expert talent around here. :)

FoW: The Battle Of El Sodor-mein

A couple of weeks ago Farmpunk and I had a Flames of War Battle down in the Man-Cave. We were a little sick of the same old hills/trees/rocks thing that we'd been doing for terrain up to that point. So we um... appropriated some of my kids' train toys to help re-create the famous battle between Patton and Rommel at the port of El Alamein. ;)

Easy Objective Markers For Flames Of War

The US Snail delivered my Tigers yesterday. So after some quick (and very minimal) assembly, Farmpunk and I had a game down at the North Store after the D&D crowd left.
