How merging images works
Merging images joins several pictures into one: side by side, one above the other or in a grid.
- Add up to 20 images, set their order, alignment, gap and background, then download a single image.
- The images are combined on a canvas in your browser; they are not uploaded to our server.
Free to use, with no account or sign-up. No watermark or logo is added to your result.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about merging and combining images.
How do I merge images?
Add 2 to 20 images, choose side by side, stacked or grid, set the gap, alignment and background, check the preview, then merge them and download the result as PNG, JPEG or WebP.
How do I combine two photos side by side?
Add both photos and keep the Side by side layout. Same height scales the taller photo down to the height of the other so they line up; turn it off to keep their sizes and align them to the top, middle or bottom.
Can I change the order of the images?
Yes. Drag an image to its new place in the list, or use its arrow buttons, which also work with the keyboard. Remove an image with its × button, or add more with Add images.
Is there a size limit?
Each image can be up to 10 MB. The merged image is limited to about 16.8 million pixels and 16,384 pixels on its longest side, the largest image every browser can save: a larger layout is scaled down as a whole, and the tool says so before you merge.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The images are combined on a canvas in your browser: they are not uploaded to our server.
Can the background be transparent?
Yes, in PNG and WebP: turn on Transparent background and the gaps and empty areas stay transparent. JPEG has no transparency, so they are filled with the background color you choose, white by default.
