A very unusual Insect Mecha-Digimon that was recently discovered. Insect Mecha-Digimon had not been discovered until now, and their existence itself was never even imagined. Because it will discharge 1 MV of electricity from the stun gun-shaped head and arms it possesses if it senses danger, you mustn't carelessly approach. However, it has not an aggressive personality, but a docile personality which seeks tranquility. It uses electricity as its source of nutrients, and charges electric power using its middle two legs. Its Special Move is discharging electricity from the pincers on both of its arms and cutting through solid objects (Scissor Arms Mini).

Digimon Seekers ~Witch of the Crossroads~[edit]

In Episode 1, Xu Yulin found a strange reading and sent her Kokuwamon to trace the data flow, which stopped at a level even deeper than the Dark Web, as if it was blocked by some kind of wall. Yulin then saw unidentified Digimon crowding around Kokuwamon which then deleted it.

In a village, Yulin and Ryudamon found a broken Kokuwamon and Hagurumon. Yulin pointed out that the Digimon there seemed all wounded, especially the Machine and Cyborg Types, which were used quite often by humans, which she doubted was just a coincidence. Ryudamon explained they were overworked by said humans, damaged, then thrown away like trash when they were no longer useful. This angered Yulin but Ryudamon said it was too large a problem to be resolved by a single individual which she accepted.

A Kokuwamon was one of Waru Monzaemon's hostages in Episode 2. It was part of the group that tried to protect Ryudamon with the Iaijin katanas.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger[edit]

Two Kokuwamon were servants of Vulcanusmon and were known as Kokuwamon A and Kokuwamon Un (コクワモン阿, コクワモン吽).

Kokuwamon A in the Factorial Area is in charge of the bulkheads. However, when Yuki Dan/Yuki Kanan arrives, they're out of commision after blowing a fuse because they had to close the bulkheads in an emergency, so they send them to the Vademon Brother 153 to get one. Vademon had already sold its last fuse, so Kokuwamon A instead thinks a shock of electricity may fix them. While this does work, Kokuwamon A is incapable of getting the group to Vulcanusmon on their own so they send the Agent and the rest to get their partner and the other stable Digimon trapped beyond the bulkheads. The Agent quickly finds said partner though they were under attack by a group of Titans: a Shamamon and two Goburimon. Kokuwamon Un joins the party for that fight and stays in afterwards as a level 15 Digimon capable of using basic attacks and Scissor Arms Mini. They can also operate machines using Batteries.

After finding all the trapped Digimon and returning to Kokuwamon A, both Kokuwamon declare it's their turn to join the Agent, and A joins the team with nearly identical stats to Un except higher SPD. They both fight against Ultimate Brachimon, then leave to open the bulkheads that lead towards Vulcanusmon.

8 years later, both Kokuwamon left Factorial Area to Rebellion Village out of disgust against what the Titans did to their home area (which was renovated into an entertainment facility). Despite this, in the Factorial Area itself, they were seen as heroes and had a park, the Kokuwamon Park, built to honour them. However, the story told about them had several inaccuracies, as it painted them as the only heroes who single-handedly saved the area, as well as showing them as giants.

Near the end of the game, the pair were amongst one of the Digimon who were transferred to and trapped in the Akashic Records.
