A mischief-loving, impish Digimon with the appearance of a small oni. Cunning but lacking courage, it never acts alone; instead, it always attacks in groups while hiding in the shadows of trees or buildings. However, once outnumbered, they run away at full speed just like baby spiders dispersing. Whether to make up for it, its intelligence is a little higher than other Child Digimon. Its Special Move is throwing Mach speed fireballs at the enemy (Goburi Strike).

Digimon Story: Time Stranger[edit]

Goburimon are the foot soldiers of the Titans.

In the side mission "Impatience and Determination", a Goburimon stole the heater of a Betamon in Central Town. The Betamon sends Yuki Dan/Yuki Kanan to punish it for the robbery, while allowing the Agent to keep the heater as it planned to replace it anyways. When the Agent talks to a Goburimon boasting about something new he had, he gets mad at them as he was talking about his latest-model club, not a heater. His big brother's best friend, Wendimon, then joins and attacks the player for annoying his friend. After defeating them, they run away. Afterwards, the Agent found three Goburimon who were the actual culprits of the theft. After deleting them, the Agent takes the heater.

When the Agent, Misono Inori and Aegiomon arrive in Gear Forest, they find a Palmon being attacked by three Goburimon, which they then defeat. Later on, a Kuwagamon, a Shamamon and a Goburimon of the Titans attacked Hawkmon and Floramon, and the Agent and Palmon defended them by defeating the Titans.
