A Puppet Digimon with the appearance of a panda. With its lack of expression and emotion, and blunt personality, it has no charm at all. Although it considers itself a lone wolf, it is thought that it is secretly jealous of the popular Monzaemon due to its similar appearance. However, since it is surprisingly powerful, meddlesome opponents will have the tables turned against them. Its population is small, so it is rarely seen. Its Special Move is attacking with the claws hidden within its paws (Animal Nail).

Pandamon was adopted from a winning Digimon entry in the "Digimon Web Dot-art Contest" which belonged to Mr. Taiichirou Azuma from Miyagi prefecture.

A Pandamon was a resident of Toy Town in "Town Floating in the Sky! Toy Agumon Toy Country". He helped Kanbara Takuya and Minamoto Kouji get into the castle and later arranges a Toy Agumon to get them back to the others. A lot of Pandamon were seen at Akiba Market in "Blizzarmon, Blow the Snow, Call the Glaciers!".

A Pandamon was part of a group of Digimon, alongside a Gumdramon and an Upamon, that explained to Higashimitarai Kiyoshiro and Tsukiyono Ruli how they were sent into the Real World in "The Call".

Pandamon is a part of the Panda-gumi, an organization led by Sasatake, who Pandamon has a father-son relationship with. He lives in an alleyway called Hikarigahama East Shopping Street. He protects its inhabitants against a company called the Koala-kai, which tries to evict them to build a giant resort with a casino. Pandamon met Sasatake while eating someone's e-Pulse to survive. After Sasatake allowed him to consume his e-Pulse, he formed a bond with him, considering him his boss and only nourishing himself using his e-Pulse. Considering that Sasatake is an old man, his e-Pulse is less potent than those of other humans, so Pandamon is unable to fight at full power all the time. Despite this, he defends the Hikarigahama East Shopping Street while weakened. He also formed a brotherly bond with Gekkomon after explaining to them that sharing happiness increases it, rather than lowering it.

Digimon Story[edit]

After defeating Dark Tyranomon, he sends the Player to Cliff Valley to meet Pandamon, since they'll need his Digimental of Miracles to enter Chrome Mine. However, Pandamon refuses to lend it to them as he's too busy with an extremely difficult question. After the Player insists, Pandamon allows them to take it only if they can answer his questions:

Warm-up question: What colour are Agumon's armbands? (Red)
Real question: Out of Agumon, Patamon and Tailmon, which Digimon doesn't belong in the group? (Tailmon)

After answering both correctly, Pandamon changes his tone, now greatly appreciating the Player for answering his very difficult question. He gives them the Digimental of Miracles and tells them to come back anytime, as well as asking for their help if he gets stuck on another question in the future. However, what he actually gives them is a fake: the "Dizomentan of Miracles" (きせきのデゾメンタン Kiseki no dezomentan; Dub: Digi-Eff of Miracles/Miracle DF). After Terriermon calls him, Pandamon apologises since he didn't mean to give the Player a fake, but it must've gotten swapped after he lent it to Platinum Scumon and gives them the address to Drain Tunnel.
