Digimon Story: Time Stranger[edit]

Voice Actor: Japanese Akimoto Satoshi | English Javier Prusky

Sharkmon is a Virus-type, Perfect-level Digimon of the Reckless personality. It evolves from Deltamon or Seadramon if their HP is 1690 or above, SP is 960 or above and their Attack is 1100 or above, and if the player's Agent Rank is 5 or higher. The stat requirements can be cut by up to 4.71x through Agent Skills. Its signature move is Issei Hōgeki, which does 45 Steel physical damage to all foes. It is weak to Null and Electricity, resists Ice and immune to Water. It can evolve further into Neptunemon or Metal Seadramon.

Sharkmon is the boss of the Titans attacking the Abyss Area in "On the Shores of Another World" in search of the Energy Vein. While it was happy to see Hangyomon back, its former underling, had survived after it went missing, it got angry after he asked it to not attack the village and decided to kill him for being a traitor.

Sharkmon is the final boss of "On the Shores of Another World". It starts the battle with two Hangyomon with greatly increased HP. Apart from normal attacks, it can use Iron Slash II, Heavy Strike II, Crush Blade II, Tidal Stream II, Acceleration Boost, Texture Blow and Attack Break. The Hangyomon support it with Guard Break and Guard Boost, as well as using normal attacks.

Eventually, Sharkmon will start charging an attack. At this point, Sharkmon (Jasper) becomes a target and the Hangyomon will support it with Hate Charge, giving one of the Hangyomon taunt; and X-Heal to make sure said taunted Hangyomon survives. If not stopped, after two turns, Sharkmon will return to its original stance, then use Issei Hōgeki. Afterwards, the Hangyomon will return to their buffing/nerfing pattern, and on its next turn, Sharkmon will use Triple Actions. If stopped, Sharkmon will be incapacitated next turn.

Sharkmon's affinities are identical to its playable counterpart. Sharkmon (Jasper) is weak to Fire and Metal, and resistant to Water. The Hangyomon are weak to Fire and Metal, and resist Water and Ice (same as playable counterpart). It is affected by Paralysis. Both of the Hangyomon are affected by all status conditions, including Crystalize (although if Sharkmon is charging, they will use skills as if they aren't affected). Sharkmon has the genes "Titan", "Aquatic", "Medium" and "Machine". The battle ends instantly if Sharkmon is defeated, regardless of any other on-screen targets.

After being defeated, Sharkmon and its underlings retreat, terrified of the power Yuki Dan/Yuki Kanan's group had. Later on, after reflecting on the importance of the Energy Vein to the Titans, it orders its underlings to get healed up and gather their strength to attack once again. However, as shown in the side mission "Hangyomon's Woes", he had managed to affect the Energy Vein before leaving.

He was later transferred to the Guardian Palace by Junomon. He was freed by Titans summoned by Plutomon as gratitude for the protagonist saving his life and defeated the angels summoned to deal with the mass jailbreak.

He was one of the Digimon thrown into the Akashic Records and helped Venusmon in taking care of the wounded during the Abyss Area Digimon's fight against clone Leviamon in "The Final Battle over the Natural Order". Sharkmon was part of the Abyss Area, Titan and non-Titan, group that joined Venusmon and Neptunemon so they could hold back an endless wave of copies, realizing Venusmon and Neptunemon's shared vision.
