Sugartown #2

Enjoy Your Stay

Rate this book
The last thing Holly Harris expected was to wind up nineteen, knocked-up, and all alone. When Coop left to pursue his dreams of becoming a rock god, he left a tiny piece of him behind.

Holly wishes he hadn’t.

Jackson wishes he hadn’t.

Jackson Rowe tried filling the void his family left by drinking, screwing around, and leaving a string of heartbroken women in his wake. Moving back to Sugartown should have been easy, but he hadn’t counted on the fact his sometimes attraction to Holly would still be alive and kicking—and he sure as hell hadn’t counted on her being pregnant with another man’s baby.

They drive one another crazy, and yet they can’t stay away.

When old flames resurface, and even older wounds are torn open, can two people so similar make it work? Or will their stubbornness only drive them further apart?

Content Warning. Intended for a mature 18+ audience. Contains angst, a crap-tonne of profanity, short-tempered Australian wildlife, and some very pregnant sex.

No, no, no...NO

I was SOOOOOOO looking forward to this book. I LOVED Holly and Jackson in the first book and I was really looking forward to reading their story.

description

But this was a fucking mess.

Holly was a mess.

Jackson was a mess.

The plot and flow? You guessed it.

Fucking. MESS.

I'm gonna try to keep this vague to avoid spoilers, but here goes...

First...Holly.

I liked her in the beginning. Feisty. Talks shits. Abrasive.

I like it.

But then I don't like it.

Because that feisty abrasive shit talking suddenly gets skanky and indecisive. And selfish. And ridiculous.

description

And NO.

Second, Jackson.

Fucking.
Smoking.
Hot.

Great tension. Great dirty talk. GREAT sexy time. And then?

Fucking. Smoking. Train wreck.

Bad words. Bad thoughts. BAD decisions. So. Pointlessly. Bad.

description

So NO.

Third, the plot.

Small town...BIG problems.

Constant, catastrophic, and unrealistic "I-can-only-suspend-my-beliefs-so-far" problems.

Emotional reactions that don't fit these constant, catastrophic, and unrealistic problems.

Choppy, choppy, choppy--like this review choppy-- flow of emotion and circumstances.

description

Again, NO.

By the end I was waiting for skanky Holly and retarded Jackson to just go away together. To JUST. GO. AWAY. Period.

And then maybe have something fucking ridiculous happen to them.

Like they get blown up in an explosion.
Or washed away in a flood.
Or burned to death in a fire.

But those things all happening in one single book would be overkill I suppose, right?

...Right???

NO????

While my trip back to Sugartown was HOT and extremely hilarious it was also hit with a whole LOT OF DRAMA.

Holly Harris, the snarky tell you like she means it with a one two punch red head that readers first fell in love with in Welcome to Sugartown is back annnnnd she’s pregnant. Being nineteen and pregnant is scary enough, throw in the fact that the guy who impregnated you is nowhere in sight and that fear triples. Faced with having to put on her big girl knickers Holly decides that she will raise her child on her own with the help of her close friends who coincidentally are also her housemates.

Doubt she knew that her pregnancy hormones would have her ready to jump one housemate in particular just about every time he enters a room. The sexy and delicious town whore better known as Jackson Rowe.
“Sweetheart, right now you could be pregnant with the Dalai Lama’s baby, and I wouldn’t give two fucks.” - Jack

Jackson Rowe is back in Sugartown and he is screwing his way through the small town. LITERALLY, the guy can’t keep it in his pants. Jack has always had a hard on for Holly(pun intended) and her carrying another man’s child has not changed his desires to hit that. Jack feels like he has a claim on Holly. On this I would have to agree. As the flames between these two grow to an intense burn it becomes clear that she agrees too.

In spite of all that undeniable attraction neither Holly nor Jack seem to be able to get on the right track long enough to become in sync, deciding to instead tuck their feelings away for good times and sex play.

‘This is how we play safe; by teasing and rejecting one another until we can forget about the feelings between us.’ -Holly

As these two fall in to a comfortable just sex no strings attached relationship their roommates question it. Besides, let’s be honest how long before the strings do attach only to form a big ass tangled knot.
Round and around and around these two had me on a lust filled spin cycle.

I swear to you I am not over exaggerating there is a good deal of sex NOT that I necessarily mind the sex… *GRINS* I like my steam

What I don’t like is all the back and forth. The whole I want you – I want you too – but – but? - I don’t think I can handle this – I need you – I need you too – WAIT, STOP – NO, you want this – JUST TAKE ME NOW – I need this, I need you - I take it back, we can’t be together – I know, you’re right – I need to be inside you – I want you inside me – Wait, we can’t keep doing this – But, I thought you said you loved me? GAH it drove me INSANE.

Now toss in his ex-fiancé and her baby daddy and the drama snowballs into a freaking avalanche. This is coming from someone who actually enjoys a good dose of drama in her reads soooo…like I said a good dose not an over dose.

My Enjoy Your Stay Highlights
-The big B O O M
- Hot sex against a door
- The Bold and The Beautiful
-Shower sex

My Thoughts
This book would have worked a bit better for me personally if I was not feeling that. These two are unyielding as they take being stubborn to the next level while reaching new heights each chapter at a time. I was feeling the dual pov's, Jack and Holly are two of the funniest characters I've met so far in 2014! Alas, this is not the first time a book #2 in a series has failed to hit the spot for me by holding that suck you in plot line momentum of the first and it surely won’t be the last. The big booms in Enjoy You Stay did not exactly have the same reaction on impact as Welcome to Sugartown. Correction, after that first big boom the impact was not the same..because uh, that was a BIG BOOM.

On the bright side Carmen Jenner has a sassy entertaining writing style. I have no doubt that her characters will truly humor you with their witty banter.

Do I plan to continue with the series? Yes, I do

My Ratings
Characters- Likeable and horny with foul mouths
Writing Style- Fair
Plot/Storyline- Pregnant girl decides to raise her baby on her own, she develops a no strings attached sexual relationship with her roommate only for strings to attach and bond
Steam Factor- HIGH/Very Steamy on a scale of 1-10 I say 9
Entertainment Level- Medium, it had some good funny scenes that had me laughing out loud
Overall- I liked it, I just didn’t love it as much as the first book in the series

Now go forth and read. Then come tell us about it on Goodreads!

"Enjoy Your Stay" is book #2 of the Sugartown series. I loved the first book in the series; but unfortunately this one fell short for me in so many ways. Most of them are personal, and I am sure there are a lot of readers who may fall in love with Jackson and Holly. I was able to give it two stars mainly because I do think Carmen Jenner is a great writer, and I do wish to continue on with this series as well as her spin-off one. I also did enjoy some of the humor in this book. There were more than a few one liners that had me highlighting just so I could go back and have a laugh!

My biggest complaint with this story was the hero and the heroine. Considering they are the stars of this book, it makes for a very frustrating read. A very brief summary is that Holly is pregnant with her exes kid, and she lives with the couple from Book one as well as Jackson who is the hero. Well, these two are basically screw buddies who can't seem to stand one another. Somewhere along the way they fall for each other. Unfortunately this does not mean that we have a ton of meaningful and romantic scenes; instead we have them fighting their feelings for one another. Jackson often says horrible and hurtful things to Holly, and I could maybe forgive him for that eventually; however when he ends up
There is a whole host of situations that Holly and Jackson do to one another, and I just ended up becoming emotionally detached from their relationship because of it. I can honestly say this is the first time that I have come across a book where I just couldn't care less what happens to the couple. There were no warm fuzzies for me, and I just hope that the next book in the series will be better. I am actually glad that I am done now and just want to move on!!

***4 Sugar-Licking Jackson Rowe Stars***

holly=1

Ahhh..the wait is over and we are finally back in Sugartown and it seems Sugartown got a little more sexy and hotter with Jackson Rowe and Holly Harris. Enjoy Your Stay picks off where it last left off in Welcome to Sugartown. My favorite Sugartown couple Elijah and Ana are back together and madly in love. Basically, they can’t keep their hands off each other and excuse my language but are f**king like rabbits. Sigh. Young Love. Well, fear not Holly Harris and Jackson Rowe gives Elijah/Ana a run for their money.

jackson

Sugartown resident, Holly Harris is 19 years old and pregnant. The baby’s daddy is Cooper, who left Holly to fulfill his dreams of conquering the music industry. Being the feisty redhead that she is, she doesn't let her pregnancy drag her down. Single, pregnant, hormonal, and horny, Holly is trying to figure out what she wants. One thing is for sure, she will love her baby with all her heart .

Jackson Rowe is Ana’s cousin and Sugartown resident playboy and jack of all trades. When Jackson returns back to Sugartown after reeling from the death of his mother, he was eager to meet and catch up with Holly. Well, he didn't expect Holly to be pregnant with another man’s baby.

enjoy_yourStayCollage

Besides freshly baked pies permeating in the air, it seems Ana and Elijah hot sexual energy is being transferred to Holly and Jackson. Pregnancy is making Holly sexually frustrated and horny. And with Jackson looking all sexy and hot, it’s making it difficult for Holly to resist her sexual desires and attraction to Jackson. Luckily for Holly, Jackson has no problems fulfilling her sexual ache and needs. Basically, he is the only man who can make Holly FEEL.

enjoy3

The passion and sexual energy of Jackson and Holly can only be described as raw primal f**king. When they are having sex, Jackson and Holly are one and connected. Their sexual chemistry is through the roofs...it’s hot, raw, passionate, emotional, steamy, and combustible. When they aren’t fulfilling each other sexual needs, Holly and Jackson have this back and forth banter. Their relationship is either Hot or Cold. One minute they are laughing and having fun, then a few minutes later they annoy the shit out of each other. Jackson and Holly’s relationship is like a rollercoaster full of twist and turns.

enjoystay

As complicated as their undefined relationship status, Holly doesn’t know what Jackson wants. She too is confused. Does she want him? Does he want her? Well to add to the madness, Holly’s baby daddy, Coop comes back into the picture. Well since, baby daddy is back in Sugartown, why not toss in Jackson’s ex-fiance, Chelcie into the mix. Two exes back in one small town. Holy Shit.. Can you say Sugartown got a little more interesting?

enjoy5

Rockstar baby daddy, Coop comes back to town and declares his love for Holly and their baby. And then there is Jackson Rowe, the only man who truly understands her. Coop or Jackson? What’s a girl to do? Well one thing is for certain, both men loves Holly.

Pregnant, hormonal, and confused, Holly must make a decision. Can Jackson and Holly make it work? Is their strong sexual attraction and love for each other enough or will they crumble? Or is Coop the right man for Holly? Or will Holly be a single mom?

EnjoyYC

enjoy7

Holly, Jackson, Coop, Chelcie, Elijah, Ana, Sammy, and Bob ...ahh Ms. Jenner definitely knew how to keep her readers glued to their kindle. The craziness and unexpected twist and turns made me left guessing which direction Ms. Jenner is going to go. I guess I should expect that since she really loves to surprise her readers and keep them on their toes. So I must bow down to Ms. Jenner and applaud her, she did it again and I did enjoy my stay at Sugartown. There must be something in the water of Sugartown, because it seems to have only hot sexy residents. What I love about Enjoyed Your Stay, was the fun and witty banter between Holly and Jackson. Just a couple of sentences into the first page, I was already laughing. You gotta love how Jackson and Holly were each other’s missing piece. They can joke and make fun of each other. Their connection at times didn’t need to be said with words since they were like magnets. No matter how hard they tried to resist the pull, it was too strong. As tumultuous, steamy, messy, hot and cold, Holly and Jackson’s relationship is, I enjoyed my stay. The Sugartown gang definitely made me want to come back. So Ms. Jenner, I can’t wait for Greetings from Sugartown and Now Leaving Sugartown.

WTF happened here?!

I was so happy to come back to Sugartown and read about Holly & Jackson's story. But something - or should I say someone - totally ruined it for me. And that someone was Holly. Although I liked her in Welcome to Sugartown, she really got on my nerves here.

**thanks Harvey**

I get it, she's pregnant and her hormones are all over the place...

But her constant bitching and whining was just too much for me!

Even a very hot & sexy Jackson couldn't make it better for me :(

At least I got more from my favourite couple
❤ ❤ ❤ Elijah & Ana ❤ ❤ ❤

One of my highlights was definitely that hilarious scene with Jackson and the feisty wombat! *LOL*

Nevertheless, I'm really looking forward to the next book to get more from Sugartown, especially Elijah & Ana.

3.5-4 horny preggo stars!☆

Where to begin…where to begin..

Enjoy Your Stay takes place right after where Welcome to Sugartown ends: with Ana and Elijah together as a steady couple.♡♥

Only now, instead of focusing on "Eliana", it's now time for Holly and Jackson to be hit by the love bug as well! There’s just one catch: Holly is pregnant with another man’s child!

So Holly: feisty, foul mouthed and hot-tempered, red-head. Sarcastic and no holds barred when it comes to her opinion, Holly is deserted by her rock star boyfriend and suffers the backlash of her family after finding out that their teenage daughter is knocked up by some lowlife.

She then resolves to the sole comfort of her other family, or real family since they’ve always been there for her thick and thin: Ana (and Elijah), Ana’s dad Bob, Sammy….and Jackson.

So now Jackson: Jackson is still reeling after the death of his mother. A womanizing playboy by trade, he tries to feel his void by getting off in drinking, sex, and some ‘friendly’ banter with old flame, Holly.

You see, Holly and Jackson have some history together. After all, it was Jackson who had popped her cherry in the first place. But years later and a little bundle in the oven, things are now different…or are they?

With attraction so combustible as Holly and Jackson’s will they ever surrender to the brewing chemistry and lust that has never been distinguished between the two? Or will their budding love burn down in flames? One thing is for certain: with love on the line, all bets are off and all’s fair and in love and war.

And...

description

So, my verdict: Oh yes, I DEFINITELY ENJOYED MY STAY!!♡♥

While this book did have some typical NA elements in it and kind of drove me nuts with the crazy hot and cold interactions between Holly and Jackson, I have to admit that I still liked it.

Between bringing up old flames, some over exaggerated drama, and angst, I’d say this has has NA written all over it!

Then throw in: Holly’s crass attitude and “I want you but I don’t want you” b*tch façade, some up and down hormonal shifts. As well as, Jackson’s sexy dirty talk antics, sexual prowess in the bedroom, and bull headedness when coping with things and you got yourself a story!

I now can’t wait for even more from this author as well as the next two installments, Greetings from Sugartown (Sugartown, #2.5) and Now Leaving Sugartown (Sugartown, #3), both coming soon! So excited!

And P.S: The guy I casted as Jackson's real name is David Williams. He's so hot!! ;)

All I can say is that this book is one BIG cluster fcuk.

Makes your head spin at times.

Holly is preggo and her baby daddy left her to be a rock star- oh and she didn't tell him about the baby.

Now Holly is living with Jack and from their history- the electricity they share is electrifying!!

Jack....

At some point after hanging out and dissing each other and with Holly being extra hormonal due to her pregnancy- we see some really really sexyyy preggo sex!!

As we know sex isn't just sex... Both Holly and the sexy JackArse love each other...

When the baby daddy Cooper returns Holly has to choose for the sake of her baby!

Cooper...

The decision makes you insane especially with the back and forth!

Skanky Holly!

This book isn't the best thing ever written but also isn't a bad read at all!

My hard limit was pushed in 'Welcome to Sugartown' and again in 'Enjoy Your Stay'.
Cheesed me off, big time, because it really makes me feel sick.

What i read was mildly amusing and hot, but it never really drew me in. I'd say you also need to read the first book before this.

Kind of reminds me of Elle Casey's book 'Trouble'; banter, roommates, sex, pregnant, kind of funny, friends, missing baby-daddy...

Don't know what is up with the couple on the cover, they look weird? Out of proportion somehow.

Won't be continuing with the other books.

I enjoyed some of this book but the majority disappointed me.
The to and fro between Jackson & Holly got repetitive and dull very quickly for me.
Then there was the return of Coop - *sigh* I just didn't even like him at all.
*shrug*
The ending was was freaking fucking ridiculous, every time I think about it I want to rate the entire book 1 star.

Enjoy Your Stay is the second book it the Sugartown series. This book starts out with Holly left alone and pregnant by her ex. She and Jackson have been friends with benefits for a long time but the way they feel about one another is changing into something more. The problem that stands between them is that Holly's pregnant by another man.

This book started out really good for me. I loved Holly's smart mouth. I laughed a lot in the beginning. Both Holly and Jackson would do things and say thing to push one another away. Most of the time what they said and what they did was contradictory. It was stupid and frustrating for me because it was done so many times I was just bored and frustrated with the whole situation.

Enter Cooper, Holly's baby daddy. Well this is where things get interesting. This makes her a whore in my eyes but then again I hate Jackson was guilty of the same and he made everything harder by hiding his true feelings as well. At around 60% of the book I just felt like my head was spinning. I couldn't keep up with Holly, Jackson, Cooper, and Chelsie's bi-polar disorders. I really wanted to give up at this point.

description

I really wanted to like this book. I was totally excited when it was released but it just wasn't for me. I didn't even like the characters. They seemed immature and repetitively made bad decisions. They also felt and thought one way but told each other they felt another. The storytelling was choppy and hard to follow at some points and boring at others. This was a waste of several hours I can't get back.

description

There were some good points to this book. The beginning started out really interesting. I loved the tension between Jackson and Holly before they got stupid. They were really funny and I found myself laughing several times. The funniest part had to be when Sammy found the flash drive and the whole family saw the video of Anna. I couldn't stop laughing at that.

description

I had really high hopes for this one and unfortunately it didn't pan out in the end. This doesn't mean you shouldn't read it. We are all different and have different opinions and views and I really respect this writer for pouring her heart and soul into her work. This just wasn't for me. If you read the spoilers then you will see the things that bothered me may not be an issue for you. If they aren't then you should give this book a try.

P.S. I'm wondering if some of the disconnect with this book is because of the Aussie author? There are a lot of Australian references that seemed weird to me or I didn't know what they were. Either way Happy Reading. I hope you enjoy it more then I did.

In the first book, I was really excited to jump into Holly's. After though, I'm not really sure what to think. Holly and Jackson just seemed so childish in their own book. It kept rubbing me the wrong way and I kept hoping that one, if not both, of them would eventually grow up before the last page. I liked these two characters before they had their own book and I'm still annoyed with what I actually read to be honest. I'm just hoping the next book makes things better.

We've been welcomed to Sugartown and now we get to put up our feet and rest a while as the story of the hell-cat that is Holly & Jackson, the man with more sex appeal than should legal get a chance to tell you their story.

Holly's just nineteen and knocked up. After watching Coop drive off to chase his dream, leaving her behind with a baby he has no idea exists, she finds herself living in the same house as Jackson, Ana's cousin and a man that sets her pregnancy hormones on fire. Jackson has come to Sugartown after his mother dies and he is starting fresh. He has had a thing for the young Holly for years, they've always shared great moments between the sheets and the kind of bickering that leads to heat rather than hurt feelings. But she's knocked up. She's going to be a mom and after a while, it's not the thought that she's having a baby that scares him... it's the though that it is not his that does.

This was such a different story than I expected it to be. I was so surprised with Welcome to Sugartown that I really should have expected this story to take me by surprise. I knew we wouldn't get a story without the return of the rock-star-baby-daddy and the indecision between choosing what your heart wants and what your head screams you should settle for. I didn't expect to go through the range of emotions as these two fought their feelings throughout the entire wild ride. I also didn't expect the emotional flare ups of the rest of the cast and their story being told.

Jackson was a character that I loved and wanted to hate, really tried to hate him (really I did), but I just couldn't do it. He had these brilliant moments when you thought that he finally got it, that he was going to do the right thing and for once not be a complete ass, but then he'd open his mouth and ruin it for a bit. I loved the angst of these two, both fighting what they felt, but never making you think that the reality of their connection wasn't about to come crashing down on them at any second.

Carmen Jenner has created a wonderful little town, filled with women who have smart mouths and delicious pies and men who just have to wink at you, causing you to throw caution and your panties to the wind. But she laces such a great mix of humor into her stories that have you snickering while reading. I absolutely lost it when this line came into play...

"I thought you'd gone into labour, and the dingos had eaten your baby."

But that was just one part of this story that I loved, beyond the humor and love story; there were moments that allowed your heart to shatter for these two. The scene in the truck with Snickers tore out my heart completely. So much was told with this scene that went beyond that scene, there was no way to avoid the pain that was held in that moment.

A fantastic follow up to the first in this series and I look forward to the next two parts of this story. Carmen Jenner has created a fan with her quick witted writing style that can have you laughing one moment at some quirky lines but is just as quick to bring you back into the moment with sincere emotions. I can't wait to read more.

Enjoy Your Stay is not your conventional love story.

Holly and Jackson share each others worst traits. They are stubborn, impetuous, selfish and neither is very good with expressing themselves in a way outside of the bedroom.

They are not the easiest characters to like, but they are also hard not to love a little. They are they type that make you laugh followed quickly by the sudden urge stab them in the neck.

They are flawed people with a messy love story, but in the end they work. They fit each other. They deserve each other. For better or worse, they belong to each other.

It is not the same dark emotional ride that Welcome To Sugartown was. It is not a Notebook type epic love story, it's raw, it's gritty and it is one hell of a ride.

I'm standing in line waiting for the most intense roller coaster ride of my life, Enjoy Your Stay. I dared this rides sister, Welcome to Sugartown, once before and I was blown away by the experience and left wanting and needing more. But now I am impatient and needy. I just want this line to hurry the fuck up so I can get on and get off. Finally, it's my turn. I step over the ledge and prepare myself for the ride of my life. I am ready for Enjoy Your Stay. I'm going to make this ride my bitch.

I scream and try to get off this fucker. I want off. I can't do it. Please someone let me off. It's too much, there is way to much fierce sexy banter on here. I wasn't ready for it.  I wasn't prepared for this. I wasn't ready for the ups and the downs. The highs and the lows. The back and forth. I knew there was going to be a chance I would end up with whiplash, a sore back and maybe a headache, but what I am feeling right now isn't at all what I thought.

I have been FUCKED ON THE ENJOY YOUR STAY ROLLER COASTER and I have lived to tell my story.

There is only one place to start my story and that is with the sexy. Jackson Rowe is a dirty mouth motherfucker that can make a girl swoon right out of her panties. I want to lick, tug, smack, bite and devour this man. He could call me a dirty old ranga and I would let me do whatever he wanted to me. I wouldn't even ask any questions. I can see why Holly is so drawn to him. The annoying relationship they have its a big fucking turn on. The banter, the flirting, the boundaries that are so easily crossed, how can you just walk away from that? You can't, you give in when you just can't take anymore.

I WOULD GIVE IN TO HIM TILL I WAS BLUE IN THE FACE.

My story isn't just about Jackson Rowe, I mean I could spend a entire review telling you all about my obsession with this man, but I won't. Some things need to be kept a secret. There is Holly. Oh Holly, how I loved you and your witty nature in WTS. I loved your smart ass mouth and I loved how you could go head to head with Jackson. You have the biggest pair of women balls ever. But Girl, I wanted to walk right up to you and bitch slap you. There are times when I wanted to jump in this book, pull you aside and tell you that you shit does stink and you need to grow the fuck up and take responsibility for your actions. FUCK.

Who the hell does that? Hey, big guy, you can totally stick it in whichever orifice you'd like, but looking at me while you stick it in is not on. And while we're on the subject, no tenderness, ether. I am such a whore.

Well you said it Holly, not me.

I am not sure what it was, but Holly's actions and the way she handled herself, Jackson and Cooper just pissed me the fuck off. I get why she did it, I get why she felt the need and the pull, but I am so not OK with it. NOPE NOPE NOPE

Moving on.

Cooper. Oh sweet, doey eyed, wanting the best of both worlds Cooper. You can't have it all, Son. You chose the life you thought you wanted to live, but you done fucked up and now look where you are. I want to hug away his sorrows, kiss away his tears and just straight love this man.

I want to be completely honest here people. There was a time in this book that I thought Carmen was going to go a whole other direction with the book and I loved it. I was on the edge of my seat, saying " oh no she won't do that. Wait, is she really going to do that? OMG she is, she is. "

I fell in love with sweet, adorable Chelcie. And no it's not because she has the most amazing name ever and NO it's not because she is tall and blonde and gorgeous. Well maybe a little. *wink wink*

Carmen Jenner knows how to write side characters. You usually only fall in love with the main characters and the others get lost in translation. But not with Carmen's writing. I loved them all just as much as I loved Holly and Jackson. From Bob to Sammy to Deb to the dirty trucker Pep. I want them all to get their own books. HINT HINT Carmen, start writing.

"Dude, you are so fucking dead," Jack says from the couch.  "Oh come on, man. My girlfriend looks like that" - he indicates to Ana's tits and arse as she leaves the room- "and you expect me not to make a sex tape, and immortalize that shit forever?"

"She's my cousin, you fuck-rag"

"And yet I'm still not sorry." He kisses his flash drive before tucking it inside his pocket. "I'm still gonna be watching this thing when my balls are hanging down around my ankles."

How can you not love Elijah. This makes me want to go back and re-read WTS. I love me some Elijah. I loved that they were in this as much as they were. But they didn't steal the show. The banter between Elijah and Jackson was amazing. They seriously are like a bunch of chicks.

"Maybe she needs to feel more from you than your cock" Last time I listen to that wanker again. Oh, I gave her more alright, but she shoved it back in my face and asked to use my Johnson as a dildo. And the tears? Jesus Christ. Tears can mean only one thing: that the sex was so fucking woeful it made her vagina cry.

This isn't Welcome to Sugartown. It isn't some tragic love story. But don't be fooled by the smartarse comments, the banter that gets thrown around like hot potato and the dirty mouth sex god, there are moments that leave you gasping and re reading to make sure you read it correctly. There are times that you want to cry and beg them to just get over it all already and just be who they need each other be. This story is Holly and Jackson 110%.

It's only after I lay down that I allow myself to fell the sting of Jackson's words. The truth always did hurt, like a two-bit hooker after Valentine's Day.

I rated this book a 4-4.5 horny pregnant girl stars!

This book is the second installment of the (Sugar-town series). It's written in both charterers POV & is not a cliffhanger. Could be read as a standalone, but i recommend you reading the first one to under stand a little more.

This installment was written where "Welcome to Sugartown " left off. Enjoy your stay is focusing on HOLLY (Ana's bestfriend) and Jackson Rowe (Ana's cousin). In the last book we learn about Holly and Jacksons occasionally Hook up when he would come to town to visit Ana and her family. Only when Jackson's vacation came to an end He left sugartown, only he didn't want to leave her behind and she didn't want him to leave neither of them knew that.

Jackson Rowe: Sexy Single Playboy who picks up different woman every night. His mouth is all that I need to set my panties on fire. But he's still reeling in from the death of his mother, he set up to move back to sugartown. He tries to feed his void by drinking his life away and sex. Plus try to seduce his old flame "Holly" with all his HOT SEX innuendos.

Holly: Hot-tempered, No filter mouth, feisty, crazy red head. Very sarcastic and doesn't give a shit about you opinion. She does and says what she wants with no remorse. In the last book, Holly finally hooked up with Coop. Who was a new bartender at the club they would frequent sometimes. He was from the big city and was in a bad. Things between them got pretty serious before he got home sick and decided to go back home and to his band. He gave holly an ultimatum. Go with him or break up and stay. You can guess she stayed in sugar town to be with her best friend. After finding out Holly was pregnant she suffers the backlash of her family she found herself knocked up, single and pregnant.

When Jackson moves back into town he rooms with Holly and Ana. Thats where their Sexually innuendos start, and old feelings start to arise and sexual tensions are so thick. Jackson sticks by holly's side being her friend throughout the pregnancy, but when something comes up. Both of their worlds are turned upside down. Past relationships arise and their relationship is put through the test. Although they didn't have a real RELATIONSHIP. So now It's up in the air. Who does she choose in the end? Her first love and father of her child, or the guy she "basically lost her virginity too & wants to kill but fuck every time she sees him"?

I think Carmen did an awesome job on this installment, It was also funny, some parts of the book literally made me LOL. I think the only reason I gave this book a 4-4.5 stars was basically because inside of this novel was a love triangle. Pretty much on both side of the relationship. Although they were both single and not together. That isn't my kind of thing, but it fit perfectly to the book I can't think of it going any other way. In the end I loved it! I recommend this series to any one who loves romance comedy's, hot guys with sexual innuendos a girl who has no filter for her mouth or actions.

“Nothing. It tastes like all jizz. Is it wrong that I’m suddenly craving a milkshake?”

I fucking loved Holly!

She was just as funny as she was in book one. I found myself cracking up thru out the whole damn book even as I was almost crying at the same time. This book was very emotional for me, I was so feeling Jacks pain.

I laughed and I cried and even though Jack was a Jackarse I still loved him. :)

3-3.5 Stars
If asked who one of my favorite book crushes are, Carmen Jenner’s men would be most definitely on my list. I loved, no still love Elijah Cade from Welcome to Sugartown and when Jackson got introduced at the end of it I was swooning over him too; she made me curious; his body made me curious, and of course his filthy mouth. Jackson is smokin’ –no doubt.

He and Holly had their fair share of naughtiness even before the Cooper ‘accident’ and I was looking forward to read their story. Holly made me lol in book 1; she was one funny chick and cracked me up.

Unfortunately in Enjoy Your Stay I become rather fed up with her and the way she’s. I’m no prude –hell no- but the f-bombs were a bit much and I got tired of it. It was like a repetition of her words, actions, and thoughts. Some of her actions were a bit over the top and I was wondering wth is going on in her mind – I just couldn’t connect. She was funny , don’t get me wrong but after half of the book I was just like “ooook, I got it now Holly…”.

I admired her for staying strong despite being pregnant, alone and at a young age.

Jackson, oooh Jackson. You my friend I could shake. With 27 I expected more; more rational thinking; more behaving like an adult. He pulled some serious shit and I wasn’t too pleased over it. With him it was the same: a repetition of his words, actions, and thoughts.

I could understand him to a certain degree but then I gave up. The whole ex fiancé didn’t fit and I wondered what the purpose was in including her in the book. Yeah Holly was on fire and he got a reaction out of her but other than that, I don’t know.

I have to say I felt very sad for Cooper…damn he tried. Yes he messed up big times before and left but the way she dumped him was painful. I knew it would come like that but still, it felt not fair.

Overall, I enjoyed the book. It was a good read but book 1 knocked my socks off while Enjoy Your Stay was the unloved step-child to me. I caught myself laughing more about what Elijah and Ana did/said than what Jackson and Holly did/said. I adore Carmen’s Aussie slang and way of writing and in no way was is bad it just wasn’t for me. It had LOTS of steam but also a lot of f-bombs which I got tired of reading. Will I read more from her? Hell yeah I’ll. Like I said I adore her and she’s become one of my favorite authors and just because book 2 wasn’t fully to my liking I won’t turn my back on her.

God, I loved every freaking minute of this book.
4.5 Stars

I had already fallen in love with Holly and Jackson in the previous book, so I was really excited to read this book. I was not disappointed. It was super sexy, sweet, hilarious, silly, heart breaking, angst-filled, dramatic... and so, so much more.

They're just the most amazing couple!

Holly is sooo crazy, but she makes me die with laughter.

'He reminds me of a camel: big, stupid, but sort of fun to ride.'

***********

"Hols, you gotta eat."
"Yeah, tell that to the kid banging around in my vagina. He apparently likes to love off the blood of the damned."

***********

"Aww, you need me to kiss it better?" I say, and playfully shove at his arm.
"Would you? I think he may have even whacked my in the balls a time or two."
"Oh really? Damn, and we're fresh out of kisses, too. Sorry."
I laugh and then say, "We do have a couple of middle fingers left though, would you like me to shove them up your arse?"
"You always were a kinky bitch, Hols."

There are just so many laugh out loud moments. Way too many to count and definitely way too many to shove in this review. Haha.

I hate that things turned to nasty between them towards the end. They were striking out at each other and trying to impact maximum damage... and it worked. They tore each other apart.
But it definitely made their reunion all the sweeter. So it was worth it in the end.

I did feel that sometimes the author overdid it with the drama and the angst. I feel that some things were just thrown in there for the shock value. Which can get a little annoying.
And the one thing that actually made me lower my review a little was the way Coop was treated. I know that he left Holly behind, but he did ask her to go with him. He is pursuing his dreams and I don't think he should be punished for that. Especially not with his own child. The one he knew nothing about. He puts up with a hell of a lot from Holly, and Jack, but he still tries to stand by her and their child.
Then he is hurt all over again and misses his child being born. She also names the baby without letting him have even a tiny say in the matter. He doesn't even get a mention and that didn't sit well with me at all. He deserved much better than that.

This was a really fantastic book and I hope there is more to come.

With how we were left with Sugartown from Book #1, I was eagerly awaiting for Holly & Jackson's story. And Carmen Jenner certainly didn't disappoint.

Holly, a pregnant fire cracker ready to explode! Ana's bestie and sister has no filter when it comes to saying whats on her mind. Her humourous sayings and banter throughout the story had me in stitches.

Jackson, Sex on legs and irresistible to the ladies in Town. Ana's cousin returns to what certainly brings a wild ride! When he receives news that Holly's pregnant, his true feelings start to arise for how much he cares for her.

The story between these two was full of frustrating sexual tension. After hooking up in the past, I felt every emotion through both POV's. I LOVED LOVED both views.
The undeniable Chemistry between these two was soooooooo frustrating. I just wanted to grab Jackson by his balls and give them a tug and shout wake up to yourself boy and get Holly! ARGH!

As story develops you are met with frustration, avoidance, heartbreak, and hard decision making!

With the return of previous characters from Book #1, I certainly did miss Elijah. With Elijah giving Jackson a serve, he seemed to have Calm the Farm and settling down with his sweet Ana.

Overall another amazing addition to the Sugartown Series and certainly cannot wait to grab more Sugar lovin' with the next book for the series.

Well.... that was a great big flop for me :(
I read the reviews and I ignored them when I knew I should've listened. All were right to say this was a mess. I hated both mc's and felt no connection between them. Both were gross and so wishy washy with their feelings.
And isn't it great to know that judging by the description of the next book, that they didn't turn out to be good parents? NOT!

Very disappointed :(

I loved Jackson and Holly but not as much as Elijah and Ana. I feel like there were a lot of moments in this story where I just wanted to ghost punch the shit out of “Jackarse” and Holly didn’t make him grovel anywhere near enough.

Full of drama, steamy sex and plenty of laughs, it’s still a brilliantly written story and I loved seeing more of these characters that I’ve grown to love.

«Come posso riuscirci? Non so come fare.

OMG!! I'm still laughing my heart out after reading this book! Holly is the absolute best!!!!
So, to anyone that read the first book of the series, you've met Holly, Ana's best friend and her time with Coop, the hot rock god who spent some time in Sugartown but left after a while because he missed the city.
Holly is the best! She's a fireball, says whatever is on her mind and is absolutely crazy. At the end of book 1, we know that Holly is pregnant with Coop's baby, but Coop is long gone now and Holly doesn't want anything to do with the rock star that left her in Sugartown. She's convinced to raise this baby by herself with the help of her family, Ana, Elijah, and Jackson, Ana's hot older cousin. Holly and Jackson had a fling in the past, and neither forgot their time together, even though they moved on from it.
After Jackson comes to live in Sugartown with Holly and Ana as his roommates, things start to heat up with Holly and him and he has to decide what to do with his feelings and how he feels about the kid growing up in Holly's belly.
These two will get through so much, it's unbelievable. They were either tearing each other's clothes of or fighting like there's no tomorrow. I think I felt the need to slap senseless in every chapter because of how much they were fighting their feelings.

This series is one of the best! The ending of this book is perfect and I laughed so hard with Holly giving birth, she's absolutely amazing. I can't wait to continue this series, I'm so curious about Sammy's book!! In each book, he was just a kid, but seeing him all grown up will be amazing. Also, I just saw that there's a new duet about Cooper Ryan, and I can't wait to read that too because he was sweet and I loved him, even though Holly's heart belongs to Jackson, I felt bad for how it ended for him, so I'm curious about how he turned out to be.

2.5 stars

The writing was awesome again and why there are 2 stars. Cuz, otherwise, this was a clusterfuck of irredeemable that refused to die a quiet death. The .5 in my rating was for Cooper...don't ask, I don't really understand why either. I think he tanks in his book, too :(

I really liked the H/h in the first book. I thought they were going to be a great read, but they just didn't sizzle. While I could believe their hate, I could NOT believe their love. But...OMG...these two DESERVE each other. The H is such a big baby. Seriously. If he'd manned the fuck up and quit running or saying some vile shit every time things got real I might be able to like him. Cuz that h...Jesus, she needed a keeper. Honestly, though, with as much emotional pain as the H dealt the h, I didn't even blame her for stringing along the baby-daddy. I wish she'd dumped the H the moment the baby-daddy reappeared. I would have been down with her switching H's at that point :/ I haven't even mentioned the H's ex-fiancé showing up and living with them for a bit. And yeah, he almost fucks her, too.

By the time the H/h get their shit together, they've both fucked OW/OM and hurt each other mentally, emotionally, and verbally to the point I think an IRL relationship would've been broken beyond repair. And if I can't believe the elasticity of the H/h vs. the pain/cruelty they've dealt each other, I'm left feeling like the author just piled a shitstorm of obstacles on our H/h just to show how much one human can hurt another. That's not romance.

SG Ladies: Do I really need to provide the deets this time? It was actually pretty rare and only once was it horrific...H/OW...cuz he needed to show the h he was over her (*eye-mf'ing-roll*). Just skip it. And it hurts to admit that :( I really like the writing style.

Reading "Revelry" instead of the next Sugartown novel to keep the chronological order of plot.

4 Scorching & Sexy Stars

I liked it but not love it. Lots of sex and drama. We met Holly in Welcome in Sugartown, a red head and sassy bestfriend of Ana, who pregnant without the baby daddy around. Jackson Rowe came back to Sugartown and lived with her cousin, Ana. Jackson and Holly had a past that they can't leave behind. I like Jackson but hate him too for being a douche sometimes. Jack and Holly can't deny the chemistry and heat between them. Whenever they together...

But the two also won't admit their attraction to each other. They keep denying and pushing away each other. The two are like roller coaster. They will spin your emotions upside down. You will love and hate them.

This is different from first book and took me by surprise. Even Elijah Cade I felt different person here. There are some scene that touch my heart. Some are hilarious. Some made me roll my eyes. Overall the story entertained me.

I am so disappointed, i was so looking forward to reading this book. I thought Holly would be tough , she was weak and ugh, frustrating.. Jack was a total jerk I hated them both. I kept reading hoping that somewhere down the line it would change, but this totally sucked for me.
