I was wrong, and boy, I was hooked from the first chapter. I love getting inside the mind of the characters, but I was even more thrilled we were inside Marlow's mind. It's dark there. He thinks pretty depraved things. He is jealous of people he's never met. He likes routines, rules, order. And then he meets Minnie. Reading his mind and his perfect world unravel piece by piece was simply fantastic. Marlow's dark compared to the perceived light of Minnie (his opinion), was splendid. I do want the next book to come along quickly as I am dying to see what the author plots next! And as per usual - please read the warnings. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review....more

He's not only faced with losing his chance to play the game he lives for due to his grades, but is also forced to accept not everyone appreciates a celebrated jock. His salvation is at the hands of a genius tutor who has a rather large contempt of athletes. Not the set up for a romance right? Wrong. This author uses humor, faith and determination on Chase's part to work on not only Gabriel's perceptions but on our own as well. I enjoyed this story. We don't see a lot of MM jock/tutor stories. This one has a nice balance of a sunshine footballer meeting a grumpy work driven tutor. Watching them both grown in this story was fun to read. Slightly angsty, definitely sweet with some steamy scenes interwoven, you cannot help but root for Gabe and Chase. If only our real world was as accepting of everyone as the author's world.

The tenacity of the residents in the face of a never-ending onslaught of hard knocks sprinkled with salt and sass was the perfect anecdote to my book slump. The characters are relatable and loveable, even with their flaws. I love how this author shows us the real side of a character, even if fictional. Lots of sass, love, friendship, steam and stress compiled into a wonderful tale. ...more

Milo is just an omega human living his best life, or trying to anyways. The story starts off with a dramatic event and the action does not really slow down until the end. Accosted by a date gone wrong, he is rescued by Everett, an alpha with a secret. I truly enjoyed watching both characters struggle with their own inner beliefs about dating/mating and timing. It was almost comedic at times, while angsty at others. I love the character development and especially love Everett's loving though meddlesome family. Lots of twists and turns, it is a bit of a slow burn. Good read. ...more

Strongly dedicated to his family and his friends, he gives his all for Beau Atwood is a strong, alpha male veteran who has won his way into my heart. Strongly dedicated to his family and his friends, he gives his all for others, leaving little for himself. Once confronted with a sweet and strong Charli, he is forced to reconsider everything. I absolutely loved the character development for Beau in this book. Despite presenting himself as the typical alpha bachelor in the beginning, the author forces him to reconsider everything and I am here for it. I expected a typical man meets young thing, man gets infatuated which leads to a happily ever after. I was wrong. The author twists and turns the plot in this story, leaving your heart squished and stretched. There is a lot going on in this story and I feel it was wonderfully written. She has incorporated a bunch of wonderful side characters that enhance the story and leave you wanting more. Great book.

Vaughn had everything planned. His entire world revolved around hockey, until it did not. The culmination of the Wyncote Wolves series, I was ready for a gut punch and boy it came hard. He's broken, he's angry, he's lost. A drift in his mind, hiding in the dark, hiding from friends, family, himself. There is such wonderful character development in this story. London and Vaughn's story is not easy. I wouldn't call it a second chance romance, but for Vaughn, I'd say it is a second chance at life. She sees him at his best and his worst. And finding the in-between? Well that's what the author does best. She's crafted a wonderfully tough story with highs and lows but so artfully done. A simply resplendent finale to a great series.

Unlike a typical run of the mill island romance, the author sets up a compelling back story that drew me in from chapter one. Both characters have secrets that have shaped their outward identities, but not their inner truths. Watching both of these characters face and respond to their own issues, and also circle one another like fighting cats, was absolutely fantastic. Lots of secrets and steam. A great book to snuggle up with on a spring evening.

Summer Dreams lived up to my expectations and exceeded them. This small town, MM, age gap romance took my heart and shook it up in a blender. I loved Jax and Kev. Both are strong characters battling their own issues while trying to find their places in the world. I love how unapologetically bubbly Kev is in contrast to the broody, smoking hot Jax.
This story may be centered around two absolutely endearing men, but the author throws in some twists and turns that upped the intensity and left me on the edge of my seat. And I loved it. Throw in some familiar characters from some of the author's earlier books and you have a story that left me wanting to move to that town to be with my new found family. Well done.

This one fits all my boxes. With a grumpy older baker and his chance encounter sunny younger man on an adventure to discover himself, this one had me intrigued from the first few paragraphs. If you love feisty characters who sometimes step on their own feelings, a touch of angst and spice, this book will be worth the read. This is my first book by this author and it will not be the last.
