WOW!!! This book deals with personal lost between 2 characters and 2 different circumstances. This deals with trying to move on and getting on with life. Keaton Westbrook is a social media superstar who gets stranded with a billionaire in a wintery day in a cabin. The last thing these two wanted to do was have to be stranded together complete strangers.
I loved this book. A guilty pleasure that I can pick up and read in one sitting. Rachel VanDyken's stories grasping me from the beginning and I just dont want to put down until I get to the end. Such a sad but great read....more

All We Could Not Leave Behind takes place during WWII. Even though this book is based mostly about the friendship and love of two characters Hayden and Chidori you see the struggles and what it really means to never give up hope. When Chidori family is kick out of there home for being Japanese Candian during the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Chidori and her family is sent to an internment camp. Hayden decides to enlist and everyday he thinks about how Chidori and him will be together again.
I loved the point of view of the main character being from the male. I loved how you had snippets of Chidori's journal entries. I love to read historic fiction even though this was more about their love then the war. It was a fantastic read....more

With Her saying "I cant take this"or "I cant do this anymore"and then the next moment she is back with Hardin. They were NEVER apart long enough to see how it is to be without each other. This story line was so repetitive 800 page book cut into maybe a 300 pages. I could keep going on and on why I didnt like this book but I'm done.
There is another book after this and I just want to pick it up because I have invested 3 books into this 4 book series. ...more

Then you have the after the part where their relationship is over and Nick is trying to figure how everything went wrong. The third part (The Intermission) is written more in depth of their relationship and how some things were in Nick's mind.
This book deals with relationships, friendships, and trying to figure life out when it seems that everything is falling apart.
I felt the book was a little slow. I had a hard time investing my time in this story so it took a little longer to finish. I felt like Nick was a little annoying with his choices. The movie references I didnt get because I have never watched any of the movies. With that aside. I did find Nick and his sister funny at times. I did like The Intermission parts of the story where you get to know the characters a little bit better. Unfortunately that was the shortest part of the story.

Cherokee Summer is about two teens who come from two different worlds and fall in love. Ace and John might come from different backgrounds but both face similar experiences. Both teen face a mother who is an alcoholic and a father who isn't around much or not at all. I found the story to be a fun read with some laugh out loud moments. I found some of the experiences the characters face to be realistic especially when it came to like racism, families, and friends. I did have some issues with the story at the same time. I did not like the mothers character and how she tried to push this other boy on her daughter. Even though the daughter made it clear she wanted nothing to do with him. I found the fathers interactions with his daughter more like a older brother like if you won't tell I won't tell situation. Then I also found the story some what cheesy. The characters only knew each other for a short time and fall in love. Some of the things they said to each other made my eyes roll. But over all it was an easy read and enjoyable enough to finish....more
