Clark’s Meant for You, she brings to life a delightful and inspiring story through the power of friendship, family, and love. Clark’s story shows the struggle of being a divorced and single mom, as well as the difference of finding and having a good man that will be there for the good times as well as the hard. From page one, readers will delight in the realistic qualities of the characters as they come to life through their flaws and weaknesses, but also their strengths and triumphs. These are the types of characters that readers will be wishing could would jump from the pages and be their own friends. And of course the sweet romance is one that will cause readers to sigh in contentment as they turn every page of the book. Readers will not want to miss this charming contemporary romance novel.

Bergren has written an intriguing fantasy story that also intertwines the Christian faith. The story is told from multiple viewpoints, making it hard to get into the story, and character development was lacking. The premise of the story was promising, but just didn’t seem to pan out. If readers stick with the story though, it is both a suspenseful and spiritual journey. The first book in the series, Begotten sets readers up to dive into the next two books of the trilogy.

McConkie brings to light intriguing information about the small pox epidemic and the small pox vaccine. The story was a little hard to get into as readers will feel like they are an outsider viewing into the story, rather than being pulled in as if a character in the story. But if readers stick with the story, it is a short, sweet, easy and intriguing read.
