Omg I loved this series so much! Like I actually have no words to express how much this series affected me. In total the whole trilogy took me 2 days to finish. Yes, two days that’s how good these books are.
Everything about it was chefs kiss. The characters, relationships, and plot were all phenomenal! I usually have a favorite guy when it comes to reverse harem but I honestly loved all of the guys so much. They were truly in love with Phoenix, like I’m talking full on lay my life down for you. They were there after the horrific abuse she suffered, lending her strength and love.
And don’t even get me started on their snuggle sessions!

After two amazing books I expected the last to be just as good, boy was I wrong! The first 50% take place over what seems to be around a few hours, there’s a huge, totally random battle that comes out of nowhere. And to be honest the fight wasn’t even that impressive, though seeing Aleera and her snakes was pretty badass.
Then we have random reveals that mess up an already messy book. I felt like I got whiplash from how random they were.
I’m honestly just really disappointed. My babies deserve better. ...more

I was expecting so much more from Alpha and Zee’s relationship and the plot as a whole, and to me both of those were lacking. But thankfully I stuck it out and am so glad I did.
The last 40% was close to six stars for me. The plot finally picks up, and wow, the reveals. I’m still reeling from them. I love how RuNyx connects each character into the story, even side characters who seem to have little significance. I also love the romance between the two main characters. At first it seemed flat to me, but things take a turn and all I can say is daddy alpha… ...more

Before you decide to send a hitman after me, let me explain—my love for the first two books, combined with my unhealthy obsession with Tristan, overshadowed this one for me. The Emperor isn’t bad by any means; it just didn’t meet the high standards set by the first two books.
Personally, I’m a fan of the enemies-to-lovers trope—it's probably my favorite if not my absolute favorite. Unfortunately, I’m not particularly fond of the childhood friends-to-lovers dynamic. That said, I don’t hate the trope; it just doesn’t resonate with me the way enemies to lovers does.
While I appreciated all the background information presented in the book's first half, I felt the transition to the present time needed more cohesion. Right off the bat, 6–7 years pass within just one chapter, and then the story accelerates, with most of the plot unfolding over just five chapters. This pace led to reveal after reveal, and I wish there had been more time between each revelation to let the surprises sink in.
Nonetheless, I loved Amara’s strength and persistence throughout the story. My heart ached for everything she endured. I think RuNyx did an outstanding job with her character!

I’m dead. I honestly can’t comprehend how much I loved the first two books. Tristian and Morana will always be in my heart, they’ve left their mark on me forever. I absolutely adored Tristian, hands down my favorite mmc I’ve ever read. The sheer devotion and love that he has for Morana is unmatched by any character. This right here book girlies is why we have high standards. I honestly don’t know how I’m ever supposed to find a man who will treat me the way Tristan treats Morana. I swooned, cried, laughed, yelled, and most importantly felt. People ask me why I read, and sometimes it’s difficult to explain. But being able to feel so deeply for someone who doesn’t exist, to hurt for them and connect with them is something I feel utterly blessed to be able to do. I’m so grateful to have been on this journey with Tristan and Morana, cannot wait for Dante and Amara!
Y’all I did it! I powered through and finished the book! I was seriously considering dnfing this book because of how fast the relationship developed. Y’all I did it! I’m a diehard slow-burn lover so them getting together at 50% was disappointing. But I’m glad I continued!
