I love love love the myths about Selkies and every time I go to Sea World I always have to go see the Sea Lions just see by chance one might Shape Shift - LOL
Now to the story - Very intriguing from the beginning.
Amy Woods mission to hunt down the sirens who killed her sister in Orkney, Scotland leads her to a magical discovery of romance when she meets a real Selkie named Edan Kirk.
I liked Amy, I loved her weirdness of being able to see the dead and I liked Edan from the beginning too especially when Amy gets to meet him in all his naked glory. The chemistry between the two grew through out the story - HEAT RATING 3 flames.
Edan's history of a love loss and dirty baggage with the Siren's themselves added to the plot of the story. Of course the myth about the Selkies regarding true mates rings through in the end, however, I did think the story ended too quickly for me, I could of stayed in their world til the first child - LOL Oh and I loved revisiting with Edan's family seeing his mom and dad and his brothers and their families. I also thought it was a nice add to bring in different paranormal characters such as the Fae and the myth and legends of other fantasy characters like the Water Horse and Vampires. And the really neat thing is Amy's friends get a surprise of their own to match hers. Pretty cool.
The ending was very endearing and some what suspenseful with many twist and turns, it was just such a very enjoyable read. Rosanna Leo is definitely a talented writer and I look forward to reading more of her work. I recommend this awesome read to all Selkie Lovers.
Excellent!

Excellent collection of Paranormal / Fantasy Stories
Lady and the Wolf (Red Riding Hood) Book 1 Tangled Tales Series 5 Stars I really enjoyed this story Excellent collection of Paranormal / Fantasy Stories
Lady and the Wolf (Red Riding Hood) Book 1 Tangled Tales Series 5 Stars I really enjoyed this story and while I was reading it I immediately thought that I really liked the flow of the writing and knew this was going to be a great story. This is a new to me author and I have to say I definitely couldn’t wait to read every book in this box set. This story really intrigued me and I loved Lord Hugh de Bar (Wolf) and his brother who was actually stuck in his wolf state. I thought Lady Winifred was one determined and very independent woman. I loved her determination of finding out the truth. The ending was such a great surprise and totally unexpected. The old Witch and Lord Hugh de Bar’s deceased Father had some truth baring explanations that totally made the ending unexpected. I totally wanted the story to continue and not end.
Kyros' Secret (Greek Myth Fantasy) 5 stars Loved loved loved this Greek Mythology story. I loved Kyros the ½ man and ½ Centaur and hated how Ares treated him. Actually it did turn me off to portray Ares as such a selfish bastard but at the end Ares lost and didn’t get his way so all is good – LOL I just couldn’t get over Ares putting his daughter through the crap he did. Poor Thera, I really felt for her and loved how she endured everything she experienced. But that’s why I love Mythology because of all the deceit between the gods and tricks they play upon themselves and between the humans. Great story!
The Pandora Curse (Greek Myth Fantasy) 4 ½ stars More great Mythology. I love it when Zeus and his wife fight, they are always doing stuff behind each other’s back. But this time it is passed on to their children to fix things. I liked Vara the conqueror who is a descendant of Pandora how she inherited her curse and had to deal with the vices of Greed, Anger, Lust, Gluttony, and Jealousy. I think the only thing I didn’t like was the insecurity of Vara even though she was a conqueror. I think the author spent to much time and I found myself skipping parts because it became annoying. However, I really liked Nicolai who was the son of Hera. I thought the author’s examples of how to trick or teach Vara a valuable lesson was very clever and interesting – I call it reverse psychology.
I would like to add that this story and some of the others had several typo errors in it. I over looked them because the stories were great but the typos are very noticeable. I hope the author corrects these and I’m surprised that the editior didn’t catch them because these are great stories.
The Dragon and the DreamWalker Book 1 - Fire Elemental Series 5 Stars Oh my gosh, I totally ate this story up. Very interesting how a person’s own hatred and anger can destroy one’s self in the end but if they pay attention to their surroundings and acknowledge their wrongs then they can change. I like the lesson Drake Pendragon had to learn and how he overcame his mental barriers. Brynn on the other hand was irritating, she wouldn’t listen and was very stubborn. I really don’t like women like that but in the end I liked her after she realized her mistakes.
Familiar (Contemporary Paranormal) Very Intriguing story, I liked it, it was different. I loved how the Old Warlock had lots of cats around him, well until I learned that one of them was Susie Vasilly – that really got my goat and I hated the way he tricked his supposedly nephew Slade Spencer. Poor Slade Spencer, he was clueless and had a hard time expressing his true feelings until he accepted what he really was and learned the truth of everything. I was totally rooting him on and so looked forward to the HEA between him and Susie. I’d have to say out of all the stories, I was totally glued to the book on this one. I was so glad in the end the Old Warlock got what he deserved in the end and Slade came into his powers and reversing the curse on Susie. Very Satisfying Story....more
I am so tickled with this read. Holly Kelly doesn't disappoint with the continuation of this series.
This second book is actually more Fantastic Read!
I am so tickled with this read. Holly Kelly doesn't disappoint with the continuation of this series.
This second book is actually more exciting as in the readers not only get more of a happy ever after love story by matching up the handsome and fierce Dagonian Kyros with Gretchen (Best Friend of Sara the Mermaid/Triton’s daughter) the Attorney intern but a greater insight to expanding the plot for future books to add to the series.
First the story is amazing and very emotionally moving, I loved getting to know Gretchen’s background of how her Mermaid Mother Aella cruelly treated her and learning what she really was and why she hid her true self all these years (Ambrosia, daughter of death and sea). The author does a great job explaining why Gretchen and Sara acted more like sisters and so close – well now we know the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree – LOL making them Aunt and niece. Loved it. Finding out who Gretchen’s father was really surprised me and I look forward to seeing how Thanatos (Demigod Death) will be introduced into the future books.
The Dagonian Kyros back story was sad learning about his twin sister being killed by the humans and how this one act alone was the driving force of his dedication to the cause of stopping the pollution of the ocean so important to him. It was neat to see this hard core fierce warrior get slapped by Faith’s Love and soften up enough to fall in love with Gretchen. Their chemistry was instant and the romance was sweet, only kissing and hugging and holding out for marriage kind of respect. Heat level: 1 Flame
Kyros and Gretchen’s story captivates us happy ever after enthusiast and when the author’s creativity adds more twist to a mystery and a visionary adventure to extend a plot then readers like me find myself intrigued and starving for more of the story, craving more from the characters, and impatiently awaiting the next book in the series to reach the greater climax of the Happy Ever After Infinity. That’s what makes this an awesome and fantastic read.
Yes I am so ready and excited to see how Triton’s children and the Dragonian Warrior’s conquer the task given by Oracle. “Gather the daughters that join the four corners, and then go to the place where the mountain touches the heavens. There you must free the king by the fourth new moon. If you fail, the wind will drive fire across the land and earth will crumble into the seas. All mankind will perish.”
This is one awesome Mythical World so fascinating you’ll want to immerse yourself into. I am so stunned, I mean WowFascinating Oceanic Mythical World!
This is one awesome Mythical World so fascinating you’ll want to immerse yourself into. I am so stunned, I mean Wow! I’ve read many mermaid stories but never have read about Dragonian.
A Dagonian was created by Poseidon and isn't considered a mermaid/merman. They are similar in certain ways, however only the children of Triton are considered mermaids/merman's which Poseidon had eliminated out of spite. But Poseidon’s reign is short lived and his son Triton rules the oceans now and though Triton’s children no longer exist, at least he thinks none exist, he rules with a firm power.
I loved this story, I mean I ate it up by sucking all the mythical details and the amazing water world of life, how the mission of the Dagonians was to eliminate the mermaids when ruled by Poseidon to a new mission under the new ruler of Triton of finding and punishing those polluting the oceans regardless if they are mankind or ocean creatures.
I thought the Author did an awesome job with the description of this underwater world with amazing visualizing details that made me feel if as if I could dive into the ocean and experience it just like her characters.
The characters are beautiful. I fell in love with Xanthus Dimitriou theDagonian not because of his sexy description or his fierce soldiering abilities, but because of his common sense and morals towards mankind. He actually cared and instead of destroying life he wanted to save mankind from annihilation and live in peace unlike his own kin of hating humans.
I totally identified with Sara Taylor. Her courage, strength, and independence won me over. Being unaware that she was half human/Dagonian and thinking she was just a crippled stuck in a wheelchair only made this story more interesting.
Xanthus and Sara's chemistry was soul melting and sweet. The heat level is one star.
The whole plot in my opinion was perfectly created to keep the reader from second guessing and summing up the ends immediately. The Author kept me guessing all the way through and I loved that.
The ending left me wanting more and hoping I would get to see Triton get a second chance at love and creating more of his children or seeing a new species of human, dragonian, and mermaid combined.
I look forward to reading more by Author Holly Kelly and recommend this story to all mythology lovers.

Just Wow! This is one story where the dark, twisted, and grittily sexy God’s rule and mastermind the fevered rage in a Heart Wrenching Suspense that keeps the reader captivated and passionately exhilarated through every dramatized thrilling visionary scene.
I can definitely say that the ending of the Of War Series is Epic because as I sit here and write this review I am still stunned as I go over each and every scene that I just read as it continues to play out in my mind. It was absolutely thrilling, shockingly horrifying, and chillingly erotic with the memorizing mental psychotic climaxes.
As a Fan of Ares, I loved seeing Ares in his environment as he loses himself to his chaotic first love “War” – he totally dominates with his masterful killing sprees and I was sad to see his inner beast “the wolf” suffer as he gets eaten up with the disease “Major Falls”. So yes the warrior appeals to me but so does his tender warmheartedness towards his wife Alena.
Alena and Rose are still my favorite precious characters to love. I love their Fae magic and how their love is so strong that they’d die or do anything to protect the ones they love. It was good to see Rose grow in this book and see her magical gift of healing and how she loved playing tea with the help of her Fairy Friends. Alena – My heart seethes and bleeds with the horrifying events she had to go through and overcome and I’m glad she got her vengeance in the end. Alena and Ares love is a love to die for.
Raven – Spoiled Rotten Raven has been redeemed and I was thrilled to see his mind and soul open up to the truths around him. He finally man’s up and stands up to his enemy as he faces his failures and amends his wrongs. It was really cool that he got to meet another Fae besides his mother, glad he met someone he could love “Lenore.”
Lenore the Dark Fae is a fierce fighter just like Alena but her old Fae ways have her mind warped and brainwashed. It was really cool to see Raven kiss her right into reality. I’m glad Raven and Lenore got paired together and a little disappointed that their mentioned love scene was only glimpse upon but I understand how the author would want to have their time in another series of their own.
Speaking of which, though this was the so called ending, the author does give her readers hope for a future spin-off from the series as the new Olympus is formed and new characters with Ichor blood are added along with the other magical characters like the Fae, Fairys, were-wolves, etc...
The Mortal World or should I say the mortal world character’s that were left – those who survived Major Falls due to their Ickor blood – Raven’s Men were Fan-Freakn’-tastic. I loved each character and only want to learn more about them in the future stories to come. I want to see their powers come forth and multiply with heirs in the New Olympus.
Now for the God’s – Geesh! What a bunch of “F” Up dramatized beotches! The corrupted mortal world is a piece of cake compared to the jealousy, deceit, backstabbing, incest-ing, murdering, and power hungry fools in their own world.
First let me say I literally hated and despised Apollo – talking about one sick ba-st-ar-d. The heinous act’s he commits in this story is unspeakable, sick, and twisted. I was kept on the edge of my seat with suspense wondering who he was going to do or kill next. I’m still in Awe with the Gods that are no longer alive in this series – have to say at least one got what was coming to him. WARNING!!! Heat Level is 5 FLAMES!!!
On a final note, I have to say so much happened that it is hard to recap it all but that it has been 2 days since I read this book and I’m still having visionary dreams of all the chilling scenes that fulfilled this amazing story.
Lisa Beth Darling is a Master of writing Wicked, Dark, & Gritty Romance. Her writing and storytelling is a visionary master piece of artistry. In every sentence you can feel the passion and demeanor of each character as they come alive before your very own eyes. Their chemistry between each character is so addicting that you will only crave more from them as you fall head over heels in love with each one.
I highly recommend this whole Of War Series to all Paranormal Romance Readers who love characters who get down and dirty in a suspense and revengeful play that may include a little erotic interlude now and then to spice the story up. Lisa Beth Darling you are one of my favorite author’s and I look forward to reading more of your awesome future works.

Pure Awesomeness is what this read is. There is nothing like the touch of a Selkie to set your body on fire with raw passion. The novella was a quick read but so enjoyable. I love the mythology behind Selkies and I loved the magic the Elemental Goddesses portrayed using their forces of Earth, air, fire, water, and the binding element alchemy.
First I want to say, I absolutely love the book cover – Freakn’ Hot! And to top it off, while reading the story the image totally matched the sexy character Ronin. His passionate touch is like electricity traveling at velocity speed making Maille’s body quiver as his liquid fire connects to every sensory nerve right down to her enflamed core. I got chills just reading it. Yes I’m a sucker for I fell in love with him immediately. Maybe it was his long hair that did it, but then it again maybe it was because he was so tentative to Maille sensually and mentally. So sweet and understanding was Ronin’s sexy voice that it made me want to stay in his fantasy world forever. Heat Level 4 Flames.
Maille is a beautiful woman whom seems lost in the beginning as she tries to fit facts to realism instead of believing in magic. Throughout the story she grows and eventually lets go to enjoy herself and release her powers she didn't know she had. I loved her caring nature and being able to communicate with animals and being able to sense things most normal humans would not have the ability to. Taking care and watching over the foal (baby horse) was precious and had my heart melting in awe.
The introduction to the Kelpie (water horse) was magical and I would of loved to learn more about him (Sexy Blond Hair, Blue Eyes, muscles, and nice ass). Do Kelpie ever find mates? LOL I’d be in line for one if they did. LOL
The whole story was just fantastic and I look forward to reading more of this author’s writing. I’m still smiling from ear to ear thinking about it. I highly recommend this to all Mythology Lovers.
Excellent Read!

Interesting start for a new series, this prelude was a tease to what's to come. Though only 50 pages long the author sets up the magical world of Atlantis and the warriors of the sea. The Merman Atargatis (King of the Sea)relationship with Crehon the human ruler over Atlantis was in the best standing, but with war accidents happen and harsh tragedies occur, some intentional and some by accident. With an ending to a war both sides lose in reality, one the loss of control and the other the loss of a love life.
The author captures the excitement of the lead up to the war along with the character's friendship. However by the end with the tragedy the readers are left with wanting more of the story. (tease to keep us coming back for more - LOL)
The character build up of the mermaids is brilliant and gives the reader a beautiful glimps into their undersea world of freedom and love - Especially how they mate and live. As far as the heat level I would say it was 2 flames out of 5 flames.
The characters on Atlantis are interesting but I didn't get a good feel for them as I did with the children of the sea but Crehon's revengeful streak has got my curiosity and I can't wait to read what unfolds for Atlantis.
Over all - great start and looking forward to the 1st edition to the "Talin's Echo (Warriors of the Atlantean Empire Series).
I recommend this for all those who love the Mer Folks and stories of Atlantis.

Morphenkinders are a brilliant breed in this paranormal world that Anne Rice has created. They are not only very intelligent but sensitive with a big heart. The story captured me throughout the whole book. I didn't want it to end. It was the perfect book to read during this time of year as winter comes on and some of us celebrate Christmas or the pagan Winter Fest.
The story continues from the first book "The Wolf Gift" and the reader learns of other paranormal creatures that exist amongst the mortals like the Ageless ones. The drama dealing with family members, the other morphenkinders who come forward, and the Ageless Ones absolutely mystified me.
The ending was perfect and left me with a smile. I really didn't want this book to end, I want more more more and look forward to the next book in the series.
Wow this has got to be one of the best fast paced books I have ever read. With the personal conflicts dealing with the love of her liEarth Shattering!
Wow this has got to be one of the best fast paced books I have ever read. With the personal conflicts dealing with the love of her life Dion, Teal's ending fate, Nolan's safety, the betrayals between the Greek Gods and of the half truths the oracle brothers Martin & John kept from everyone else in order for destiny to be fulfilled it is a wonder how love and hope can be so strong for humanity to survive.
This story was a whirlwind of drama, action, and bitter sweet love - a true test of faith, free will, and strength for all involved. I felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster. Dion and Kasey's love and dedication to each other is undeniable and I was thrilled with their elopement.
The mission and battles with each Greek God kept me on the edge of my seat. Each scene was brutal and action packed. The characters chemistry was wicked and bled off the page into a visionary selfish evilness. However, a reader could turn it around and see how the deeds for Christianity was just as evil in a torturous way when the 3 god deities were locked away in Pandora's Jar.
I myself like Kasey saw humans as God's tool - not once did the all powerful god make an appearance in this book and fight against the Greek Gods - no everything was based on the faith, hope, and prayers from the Men of the Cave and the one non-believing human Kasey. Of course they had some help from some of the other mythical immortals.
The ending was intense and shocking. The scenes continue to play as an internal movie in my mind effecting my emotions. At times I was angry and then I just wanted to cry because of the excitement, ending death or threat of death. I thought the rewards in the end were not justified especially after everything they all went through, but in a way satisfying because everyone got what they wanted.
Most important is that the Symbol of Hope and the responsibility of Pandora's Jar will always remain on earth and will continue to be passed on with Pandora's bloodline. The 3 Gods held within the Jar of Pandora will remain captured within for eternity and the inherited carrier will not have to face the crazy journey Kasey endured unless someone or something finds a way to open the jar - that's not likely to happen! Right? Hmmmmm or is it?
Excellent Trilogy - I highly recommend all three books, this is one series that will remain in your thoughts and memories forever.
Truths and Destiny are discovered in this 2nd book of the Symbol of hope trilogy. The author does an amazing Love triumphs God but Destiny trumps all!
Truths and Destiny are discovered in this 2nd book of the Symbol of hope trilogy. The author does an amazing job adding to the plot in this blend of Christianity and Mythology twist leaving the reader hooked on every word, action, and emotional outcome of each battle won.
Kasey and Dion's love is so unconditional even with Kasey's first love "Teal" being thrown in the mix making it a complicated lovers triangle. Kasey is so caring and such a loveable character that was afraid to hurt anyone which made herself vulnerable to heartbreak -ache by not letting go of her feelings towards Teal and their past.
Deion was a man (immortal saint) that every female would want as their boyfriend. He was the most patient and understanding person especially when it came to the situation with Teal. He was above being jealous but at times you could see his struggle, yet he was willing to let Kasey go in order to make her happy. I actually got kind of aggravated because it seemed Kasey was spinning her wheels and wasn't brave enough to just tell Teal to bug off. LOL
The story introduced us to Kasey's dad & mom(nudist), and her little brother "Nolan" whom I loved immediately. Along with some interesting immortals (Leda (Amelia Earhart), Athena, Apollo & Artemis) and some deadly creatures (dragon, lion, snake monster)from the world of mythology, the story only increased the excitement and entertainment of battles with the 7 Men of the Cave with their powers and humanity's weakness and sacrifices - it is heart wrenching what happens to Nolan.
Kasey meets her grandmother Pandora and the Archangel Michael and learns the destiny of her being and her mission of saving humanity from the Greek Gods destruction.
I have to say that I was totally captivated and so mind blown away with the anticipated cliff hanger that I couldn't wait to start the 3rd and final book "Symbol of Hope" to see how the ending climaxed.
Fabulous Read! Addicting Trilogy!
Note: Need to read the first book "Men of the Cave" first before reading this one or the characters and the journey will not make any sense....more
Wow! What a fantastic start to a new series. Get ready for a fantastic Journey as Kasey discovers a whole new life/world beyondIntriguing & Addictive!
Wow! What a fantastic start to a new series. Get ready for a fantastic Journey as Kasey discovers a whole new life/world beyond her wildest dreams in a country far away from her own home. I was intrigued by the story immediately as the author’s description of Kasey and her situation became visualized from the smooth writing. It was totally addicting and I could not put the book down, I had it read within 4 hours and only craved more in the end.
The characters were so real like and the connections between all of them were family oriented, passionate, and heart melting emotional. With a great mixture of Christianity (God & his first Children) and Greek Mythology (Greek God’s, Goddess, and Demigods) intertwined, it made for a very interesting story that I will never forget.
First off I love Mythology especially anything about Pandora’s Box (Jar) and as I read this great story the author held my interest and excitement of learning more about Pandora and her descendants. I also love the different take on how the God’s, Goddess, and demigods came about and how the Almighty God with his warrior angels ended the great war in the heavens.
The myth story on the 7 Men of the Cave came with some interesting characters making the story mysterious and exciting to learn more about them, they were not only handsome but they all had different talents and special abilities to go along with their immortality.
Here are just a few short quotes of their description and who they were:
“Max-Maximian can heal with his touch. Anthony-Antoninos, can speak with animals. John-Joannes sees the future and Martin-Martinianus sees the past or present”
“Sam-Sambatus my older brother can leave his body in spirit form and move around in a ghost like way. James-Jamblichos my younger brother can move objects with his mind. Me-Dionysius , I am fast,”
The story’s plot remained a mystery all through the book and I loved that about it. The romance between Kasey and Dion built up beautifully. I would have to say the heat level on this romance was mild, I would also say that the story’s romance could be based on a border line between Young Adult and Adult especially since Kasey’s character was 18 and the immortals were several centuries old. There were a couple of make out scenes but they were very tasteful, nothing naughty.
I found the story very humorous with the bantering between the 7 brothers and with Kasey. In the end, though I wanted a Happy Ever After and an ending climax to the mystery of the 7 Men of the Cave along with the relationship between Kasey and Pandora, I quickly accepted the cliff hanger knowing there will be a book 2 “Jar of Pandora” in the series and am totally Jones-ing until it comes out.
I highly recommend this book to all those who have an interest in romance with mythology and Christianity elements. You will truly be amazed at the author’s talented writing and storytelling. Marisette Burgess you have a new fan and I can’t wait to read more of your work.
