Being a high profile serial killer, Felix Darcy was kept and experimented on like an animal at Alabaster Penitentiary. Dr. Lemuel (Lem) Love, the newest addition to the island was handpicked to study The Carver. But his professional interest could lead them into a path neither of them expected.
I was intrigued by Felix since the first book in the series, where he was portrayed as someone who everyone avoided. This book showed his true self, which made it impossible not to be on his side. Lem was also an interesting character, and it was amusing seeing how he tried to rationalize his actions.
Felix Darcey is exactly that. A dangerous animal behind bars. And I can’t help wanting to step inside his cage.
While this book is longer than I prefer, I enjoyed learning about their past and getting questions from previous books answered. The romance was slow burn, and the heat was not as high as the other books, but I didn’t mind due to the interesting dynamic and palpable chemistry.
Brainwashed is a story of embracing true self. It would appeal to readers who enjoy forbidden MM dark romance.

Jude Park became a recluse after the tragedy that took his mother’s life. While his physical scars healed years ago, his emotional scar was still bleeding. Tate Prince came into his life as the family’s therapist. However, Tate’s presence not only uncovered his past but also unleashed something else within him.
Jude intrigued me right from the first book. I loved him with how he cared for his family in his own grumpy way. Tate was the light in Jude’s darkness, and Funky was another factor to love him.
They’re just scars. Lots of people have them on the outside. Most of us have them on the inside. They tell our story whether we like it or not.
The story was engaging with a hint of suspense and humor. The characters had good chemistry which led to smoking sexy scenes.
The Heart of Smoke is a story of healing and resilience. It would appeal to readers who enjoy MM light forbidden romance.

But now he realised it wasn’t death he was afraid of. It was pain. It was the threat of pain so excruciating, so unbearable, so unending, that death would seem like nothing but a promise cruelly withheld.
Weariness plagued Troy after years of dedicating his life to vanquishing never depleting scums. He took the opportunity to save Arkady, the boy he had been monitoring, not realizing he could be condemning his own soul. This story is the darkest and my favorite in this collection. It was vile and heartbreaking, with an impactful ending.

This one was a fun one. I inked the overall storyline, but it was long. I loved both Dex and Hammer, and their personalities fit each other. Though I have to say, Dex stressed me out, and I wanted to smack his head once in a while lol! The sexy scenes were hot, and I liked how they were open to exploring what was unfamiliar to them.

Just when he was about to lose all hope, along came Ambri who became his muse and changed his career trajectory. However, fame and fortune meant nothing to a lonely heart. And to have it all required a price neither of them could afford to pay.
I enjoyed the overall storyline with how their lives were entwined. But I did feel the ending was a little too easy and convenient to leave a deeper impact. Cole and Ambri fit well together. I loved how vulnerable and human Ambri was, and his past and personality made him endearing and amusing. Even though Cole had nothing, his heart was willing to give everything.

This book was different, engaging, and entertaining. I love the cult-based storyline and how the main characters were connected. I also liked seeing how they coped with the situations they were thrown into.
Seeing the glint of tears in his eyes, the trembling of his delicate fingers was the confirmation that God had sent Abaddon to Earth for him.
The story delved into dark subjects, but most of the darkness was off page. The sexy times were just the right amount to entice without compromising/undermining the characters’ experience.

Count Leopold de Rohan has been enjoying his life a little too much. When his mounting debt reached its peak, the only way to pay his way out might be too hard for him to swallow.
This book was tamer than I expected. While I enjoyed the many different kinky elements, they were brief like a sample platter instead of the main course. I enjoyed the period and the various characters introduced throughout the book. Leo’s personality deserved spankings at times but was also entertaining. The overall storyline was interesting, and wrapped up in a sweet ending.
Being under men or serving them with his mouth had proven to be an unexpected thrill that was only made sour by the conditions in which it happened.
The Humiliation and Imprisonment of Count Leopold de Rohan is a story of debasement and personal growth. It would appeal to readers who enjoy kinky historical erotica.

Going into this one, I was aware of a certain aspect of the book. But I wasn’t aware of the second dynamic, which was a bonus for me because it made it twice hotter. It absolutely satisfied my cravings on that matter.
He has to know that what we’ve done together is wrong. I know it, myself. But what I’m not saying, what I’ll continue clutching tight to my chest for as long as I can hold it, is that I still want it, regardless.
The book was long, but I enjoyed the overall story, except towards the end, which too over the top. I liked all the characters, and they were easily distinguishable with their own personality, wants and fears. My favorite was Colson, whom I can’t help being drawn to.
Double-Edged is a story of self-worth and sexual reawakening. It would appeal to readers who enjoy a taboo Romance.

An interview assignment brought Quinlan Van Haas to the doorsteps of the popular but elusive masked gamer, Joker. What started as a professional meeting, quickly crossed the line that both of them seemed to crave.

This book didn’t turn out as I hoped for. I liked the idea of a one-night story and a gamer but, the author took it in a different direction that felt like a muddled concept and a missed opportunity. I don’t mind insta lust, but it didn’t work when the characters lacked connection, which led to dispassionate erotic scenes.
For a short book, there were too many things being crammed that it became a hodgepodge of things that barely even scratched the surface. There were so many different kinks being thrown out in one scene, it didn’t make sense. I loved the idea of this book, unfortunately not the execution.

This book got me curious, and I did not expect the story to be incredibly romantic. I’ve always have a soft spot when it comes to a certain element in a story, and I felt the pull in this one even before it was revealed.
I thought for sure she was the one. I felt it in my bones. Now all I feel is remorse, because it wasn’t until ten seconds ago that I realized I’ve already moved on to another cycle.
I was drawn to Leeds right from the beginning. I shared his curiosity and his dilemma even when he was doing questionable things. I also felt for Layla on how much her life changed, and I thought the author managed to weave the different elements regarding her in the story quite seamlessly.
Layla is a story of love and sacrifices. It would appeal to readers looking for a Paranormal Romance with mystery and suspense.

Radek Nowak wished he could just leave behind everything that tethered him to the remote village in Dybukowo Valley. But an encounter with a forest ranger Yevhen (Yev) Vovk literally changed both of their perspectives in life.
This book is vastly different than the first one. This one is less sinister with fewer folklores element but it doesn’t make the story any less entertaining. I haven’t read many shifter books but I can say this one is my favorite so far.
Yev’s breath got shallower when he saw Radek’s cock bob and slap against the ginger trail under his navel. The delicious redness spilled from the boy’s face, down his neck and smooth chest as he tensed and bit his own lip in the effort of accepting the ball pushing at his hole.
Radek was adorable and mischievous while Yev was nurturing and understanding. Together, they’re a perfect pair that balanced each other. I loved how both of them were at different crossroads in life and how they inspired each other in completing their personal journey. Also, the hot sex scenes wrapped up everything into a complete package.

As a young priest, he was heading in the right direction until an indiscretion led him to be transferred to a remote village. What supposed to be helping him avoiding temptations turned out to be a complete opposite when the village’s black sheep, Emil Slowik walked into his life.
I liked both of the main characters. Adam’s reluctance to accept his true self was both amusing and frustrating. Emil had such a hard an unfortunate life it was hard not to feel for him.
For so many years, Adam had struggled with desires he didn’t dare speak of, but Emil had seen right through him and used that knowledge to unsettle Adam’s spiritual equilibrium as if it were a game.

Kevin was a cute and enthusiastic little twink, while Sandro was a sexy and gentle Daddy. They fit together nicely with some punishments in between.
“That’s it. This pretty peach is mine to fuck. How does it feel to know I’ll be driving my cock into you?”
For most parts of the book, the story was all sweet and fluffy. Then it took a 180 and turned dark. I liked that it balanced out the sweetness but it was too sudden and quickly resolved.

This book was not what I expected at all. It turned out to be sweet and heartwarming, perfect for the holiday season.
There was something boyish about him sometimes, or unspoiled. He was already one of the most genuine souls I knew, and he liked the simple things in life. But right there, in his bed, he was all man.
I love the dynamic between Ev and Adam. It made their semi taboo relationship even hotter. I also liked how the story heavily focused on family connections. However, I personally would prefer the story to have more/deeper conflict(s).

Toby Page never had much to look forward to all his life. Growing up with a deadbeat mother, he always believed he was useless and unwanted. But things started to look up when Alice Eliot moved into the building he worked in. She made him dare to dream, but lifelong emotional abuse might not be enough to reverse his beliefs.
Some people are born to do great things, to leave a mark, to simply be great. And some people, like me…aren’t.
Toby’s heart broke my heart. He was so young but burdened by a hard life. And while outwardly he might be an asshole, inwardly he had a beautiful soul. Alice came into his life at the time he needed her the most. She had her own issue to deal with but was never selfish about others’ needs. The supporting characters were well developed with their own struggles and interesting personalities.
"Quietly, they walk among us, treading lightly but providing stability and influence because it’s second nature. The thing that’s so special about these people is that they don’t even know they’re doing it.”
This book touched on a sensitive subject. But if you’re worried about it being depressing, don’t because ultimately, it is a heartwarming and uplifting story.

Penn McAlister and Copeland Justice grew up together as best friends. An incident pulled them apart and it had been eating them ever since. However, things were about to change whether they’re ready or not.
Before starting this book, I didn’t realize how young the characters were. There was a lot of drama, external and internal but I didn’t mind it because it added angst to the story.
When his hips begin to thrust wildly against me, I try not to lose my mind to the madness only he can create. He reaches between us to grip my dick, stroking in tandem with his thrusts. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
I loved both Cope and Penn together especially in the earlier part of the story. The palpable tension between them was both painful and hot. My favorite part was the “in denial experimentation” scenes. Amusingly arousing lol!
Cope acts tough and like he has it all together, but I know the boy deep inside him. The insecure boy who never felt loved by his father. The boy who hides behind smirks and tattoos and nonchalance. But that boy hurts.
I enjoyed the overall storyline and I liked the secondary issues with the parents. However, I felt there was not enough background story to explain certain actions by the characters. Also, the ending was quite abrupt.
