I liked the mix of romance and action/adventure in this one. Sven and Rivka seems like opposites - but you know they say, opposites attract!
Angel Rivka wanted to help humans but thinks took a turn and went wrong. She is resourceful and smart. Sven has been hunting for her for six frustrating months since she compromised the Forgotten Brotherhood. Despite knowing she needs to avoid him, she's taken in by his icy blue eyes and sparks fly!
Teleporting adventures, fighting, and the chemistry in the romance drew me in. Also I love some morally grey characters so this fit the bill!

Perfect Paige is President of the company, much to the dismay of John and Ted. She's planned a company retreat at a luxury resort, but the Santa Anna winds may put an end to it - if someone doesn't personally do it.
Richard, the patriarch and CEO, isn't pleased with Paige's performance and wants her out, which leaves John and Ted jockeying for the President position.
Stir in Serena, Richard's ex, and Sibley, his wild child daughter and the gang's all here.
Will they oust Paige? Will she hit them with something they don't see coming? Read to find out! It's filled with all the drama as the first, and then some.
Also props to the author. Everyone said the first had Dynasty vibes, and she hit us with a character named Krystle Carrington in this one. If you know, you know!

Macon is successful and sexy and is a love 'em and leave 'em guy. HE doesn't do relationships.
In walks Brooklyn, and she changes everything.
Their chemistry is undeniable. And witnessing Macon stumble as he tries to figure out how to navigate a real relationship was so much fun. Can't wait for the rest of the series.

This was cute and cozy. Not even a Swiftie per se, but still loved this nod to her music.

Trina and Octavia were the it girl band back in the day until something broke up the band and they haven’t spoke. Since. Beat and Melody are their kids. They met once as teens and at that time sparks flew but nothing ever came of it. Now there’s talk of a tv show to get the band back together. Live on tv. They approach Beat. He’s being blackmailed and needs the money. But will only agree if they can convince Melody. Melody has a fraught relationship with her mother and is looking to free herself financially and she also agrees. I adored Beat and Melody (& those names). They truly seem to be soulmates. I enjoyed their romance and the storyline as they attempt to reunite the band.

Becca is a sweet, fun loving sorority house mom. Harrison is her grumpy football couch neighbor who she has avoided since they had a date two years ago and he ghosted her.
Some miscommunication on the ghosting, which we learn later.
Then a huge snowstorm hits. The college kids have gone home for Christmas. Power goes out at the sorority house and Harrison offers to let her stay at his home where he has a fireplace. She reluctantly agrees.
This was a sweet romance, and Harrison ends up more awkward than grumpy.

This one is more sweet and not so steamy. Brie and Rockwell dated in high school. He moved away but still crosses her mind. Brie makes a list after being urged to do so by a store employee who looks a lot like Mrs. Claus and basically manifests Rockwell back in town and knocking on her door. Their building of a friendship and then romance was sweet. Their banter was fun! RomCom with a magical element made for a great Christmas romance to warm your heart! I enjoyed the dual narration by Elise Taff and Sean Yves Lessard. They really brought the story to life.

Maggie moves back to her hometown and buys what she thinks is her dream home. On a street called Hemlock. She quickly realizes something isn't right and has second thoughts.
She also ends up in a bit of a love triangle with two exes.
Lots of drama, and as KMod always delivers, twist and turns. And audio made it even more enjoyable.

Something about Claire’s writing is comforting and makes you feel at home in her fictional world. And that cover! Grace’s shoes alone would have sold me on the book. A sweet holiday read! Leighton and Marnie have been friends since high school. Marnie and Owen dated and had a bad breakup, but Marnie assumed they would get back together. Leighton and Owen hook up during the break up, ended up together and later married. Leighton and Marnie eventually mend their friendship, but they don't talk about Owen. That's where we are now.
And then, Marnie, Leighton and Owen, along with Owen's parents, attend a local festival. Leighton is abducted while waiting in line to dive from a high diving board. Police suspect human trafficking and there really are no leads.
Marnie and Owen feel like there's more going on. But they have to be careful, as police suspect them both somewhat, and they have a secret.
Marnie meets Sarah at her cousin's baby shower. She finds out Sarah was also at the festival, resembles Leighton, despite her newly bleach blond hair, and seems to know more than she is telling.
This book was a wild ride of lies, secrets, twists and turns. No one seems to be telling the whole truth! And it finished with a great twist!

Everything but You is the third installment in the Newberry Springs series and was worth the wait!
Forrest has been the grumpy, loner brother throughout the whole series. And now we learn why!
Forrest and Shauna had young love! High school sweethearts, all set to attend Texas A&M together (Gig 'Em!) and then begin their life after college. When Shauna throws a curveball, goes to college in Vegas and eventually breaks up with Forrest and shatters his heart, the life they planned crumbles before his eyes. And he reverts into himself, not opening his heart for anyone, even his family.
A chance meeting in Vegas definitely shows the readers there is still a spark. Forrest goes back to stop her wedding, but when she turns and walks down the aisle he thinks he failed. Until she shows back up in town working for his mother and single!
Watching them try to navigate their way back to love years after the breakup was both amazing and heartbreaking to watch. Their chemistry is undeniable, they are clearly soulmates and twin flames.
Harlow - Forrest's story was worth the wait!...more

Calista Monroe, the former town wild child turned ER doctor, returns home to support her sister and her niece, Quinn, after her sister's (cheating dog of a) husband dies. She wants to be there for them, especially through the holidays.
Her pseudo aunt helps her get a job at the local hospital. People remember her for her teenage antics, but she's hoping they will accept her back as a professional at the hospital.
One snag is that she cannot avoid seeing the ex who broke her heart, Tristan, as he is Quinn's uncle - brother to her sister's husband who passed away. Tristan never got over Calista, and is determined to right the wrong and win her back.
As her sister becomes more distant, Calista and Tristan pick up the parenting of Quinn, which only pushes them closer.

When Meg is asked to fill in on the set of Blades of Glory, a reality tv show about blacksmiths, we meet an interesting group of folks. One of the contestants ends up murdered, everyone is freaking out and pointing fingers, and Meg joins forces with local law enforcement to solve the case.
The blacksmith part was interesting to me. It was a perfect cozy for this time of year.
