At first, I was worried that this book may take away from the first two books of the trilogy, but to my surprise, it turned out great-- more than what I've actually thought.
In this final book of the series, the drama and romance became much deeper. This is the kind of finale that will absolutely transform you into a swooning mess. The storyline is too beautiful and heart-tugging. Believe it or not, Jenny Han's writing style will make you think you're watching a soap opera or something. You can't help it. The scenes are moving, way too compelling they even pull out all the emotions you're trying to keep.
I love every single page of this book, every single line, every single word-- aaah words are not enough!
Now here's the real deal. I did not expect the ending. That twist at the end? Well, I didn't have any real expectations on how it ends in the first place, but man, that surprised me! That was simply spectacular and the best, satisfying ending, so far. (although part of me was kind of sad, too. Never mind.) Oh, Jenny Han, I'm already a fan so sign me up!
"There's only you. For me, there's only ever been you."
Jenny Han had me smitten all over again! This book is one of those well-narrated sequels "There's only you. For me, there's only ever been you."
Jenny Han had me smitten all over again! This book is one of those well-narrated sequels I have come across with. Very well done!
Poignant, dramatic, and compelling-- there are so many things I'd like to describe about this book. And there are several things that make this book even more phenomenal.
First, the characters. They are simply amazing you can't hep but root for them. Second, the plot. Jenny Han really does contemporary right. I love the writing style, the way she perfectly incorporated a unique kind of drama about love and loss, value of friendships, the importance of family, and true love. It simply got under my skin very quickly. At so many points I even found myself teary-eyed.
What's even great is the deeper, more emotional love triangle formation. It just keeps getting more intense! I even found myself torn (once again) between Conrad and Jeremiah. Damn, these two brothers confuse my heart by each flip of a page!
Now I can't wait to read its third and final book. :)

In comparison to Fifty Shades of Grey, this one is more about the adult hot scenes that happen between a boss and an employee inside the office. JeeZ! But sexiness aside, this book also narrates a love story between the Beautiful Bastard boss Bennett Ryan and his brilliant and stunning intern Chloe Mills. I love this book but I was looking for more romance between the characters. I mean, not just the sex. I want more of them on the emotional, romantic side. I also think their story is too simple and there was no real conflict to make it a bit interesting. Nevertheless, it's a feel-good book and it's well-written. It's something you'd like to read for a change. :)

The characters are totally unrelatable. The insta-loveinsta-lust also did not sit well on me. It was kind of strange.
It could have been better because the author's writing style is good. The story just didn't work for me.
Good thing I did not set high expectations on this. I learned from experiences not to trust high ratings. :)

I tried so hard to like this book because of its lovely and promising synopsis. And of course, because of its gorgeous cover. I realized one thing: looks and high ratings can really deceive. The book gave me a hard time liking it. Why?
1.) There must be something wrong with the author's writing style, I could not connect with everything the book narrates.
2.) The characters, especially Cuba “Hollywood” Hudson, is not the type of guy who can swoon me. HE IS AN INFURIATING BASTARD. I don't like how he's so full of himself. A total turn-off.
Before anything else I'd like to thank my friend Bea for recommending this to me. (Please don't hate me for this review though. Teehee!)
I hate to rateBefore anything else I'd like to thank my friend Bea for recommending this to me. (Please don't hate me for this review though. Teehee!)
I hate to rate this book 3 out of 5 stars to be honest because I really like it. I've always been a sucker for cheesy, mushy, and smexy books and this one really tickled all the right boxes for me.
The thing is, characters usually affect my rating-- no matter how good the plot and the writing style of the author is. While I love this book to pieces (especially because of Braden Carmichael), Jocelyn makes me raise some serious eyebrows all throughout. I get that she has a post-traumatic stress disorder due to the horrible things that happened to her during the past. In fact, I admire her bravery for handling those things and continuously living the present all alone, without her family.
What I don't just like is the way she continuously rejects everyone around her-- including Braden, who by the way, is the perfect-est guy I've met in a book. (Tell you what, he surpassed some of my favorite fictional men so I love him for that!). She always has the tendency to be rude and annoying-- which makes it hard for me to like her at all.
(Sorry guys, I don't mean to be rude for not liking her.)
I guess I don't really have the patience to deal with female characters with bratty attitudes so yeah... And because of that, I give Braden a high-five for being so committed to her and for being consistent no matter how hard she has to deal with at times.
The storyline is good. I'd give that to Miss Samantha Young, and her writing style is perfect and smooth. I just have a little issue with some of the scenes which I think are unnecessary. They tend to be dragging, but those are minimal so it's not really a big deal to me.
The sexy scenes are HAWT and totally romantic. If Jocelyn does not annoy me, the whole thing will really swoon me. As a whole, it was still a good and enjoyable read and that's the thing that I need nevertheless. :)
I recommend this book to all NA romance readers like me. If you fancy a rich and smexy male character with a troubled past and an attractive female character with flaws and issues, this one is perfectly created for you.
"When you mess with one part of a person's life, you're messing with their entire life."
I seriously don't know how to express my feelings about t"When you mess with one part of a person's life, you're messing with their entire life."
I seriously don't know how to express my feelings about this book. From the very start, I already have the idea that this is something serious and eerily creepy. I was right. The moment the first part was delivered, it instantly got me. I had goosebumps just by reading Hannah Baker's audio narration.
The thing about this book is that it talks more about how depression and being alone can greatly affect one's life. It's an eye-opener in a real sense and it simply defines the importance of having someone to talk to-- having someone to open up especially when you're emotionally in pain. And of course, it's also important to listen to everyone and to be by their side whenever they want someone to talk to. (I'm getting emo here.)
Anyway, I can't quite relate to Hannah because thank God, I did not experience a serious sadness like what she felt but I found myself feeling desolate for the things that happened to her. Things were badly awful in her life! I wish I could just change everything and make it better for her. As a whole, I did enjoy the book. It also made me learn things a lot. This is my first Jay Asher book and already, I consider myself his fan. :) Well-done!

I've started reading this book last year but had to put it down because it simply failed to appeal me. And after continuing it, I realized that it still doesn't work.
The synopsis of this book is really promising, but when I got into the story I realized that it did not meet my expectations. The author's writing style is strange that I could not easily get the whole point of the story. I could not relate to the characters, especially Talia (who, by the way, is quite annoying). I don't like her POV. It just makes me roll my eyes.
All throughout the book I was so bored. I'm sorry but this book just did not work out for me....more

Who would've thought that demons are kind of hot? *sigh*
If there's one thing that makes this book beautiful and interesting. It's Roth. Roth. And ROTH.
White Hot Kiss is all kinds of awesomesauce. I love the concept Ms. Jennifer L. Armentrout put life into this book. The existence of demons and Wardens (Gargoyles who protect mankind from demons) is a thing that very much catches attention. Not necessarily original, but somehow, it's spectacular.
While reading this book I felt like I'm in a roller coaster ride. There were lots of actions. And I mean, live, real, intense actions!
JLA also did not fail to introduce me to her super swoony characters. And speaking of swoony characters, I'm talking about Roth and no other. Zayne? Nah. Never mind. I kind of don't like him. I don't know why JLA tried to make him the third party of a love triangle but seriously, I don't like it. I just want Roth and Layla. End of the story.
"I lost myself the moment I found you.
White Hot Kiss is cheesy and darkly romantic. Roth and Layla's interactions are epically sweet and fantastic. I love their first encounter! It's something I simply can't forget. :) Apart from the romantic side, this book also has funny moments and I found myself really laughing at some point. Talk about the JLA humor... :D
Anyways, I love this book. I just wished it wasn't that slow-paced at first, 'coz I admit it didn't get me instantly. I had to patiently read until the final chapters of the book to get my full attention. Because honestly, the best parts were at the final chapters. But all in all, it was a great and fun read. And I need to read the second book soon!
"In all her twisted perfection she had made me fall helplessly in love with her. A life without her in it seemed pointless."
No words can describe "In all her twisted perfection she had made me fall helplessly in love with her. A life without her in it seemed pointless."
No words can describe what I'm feeling right now. I am sooo in love with Woods Kerrington and this perfect sequel of the Rosemary Beach. Honestly, I did not immediately delve into this book after reading Twisted Perfection because I didn't enjoy Woods and Della's story that time.
But this book-- *sigh* It's surprisingly better. It was just so good! The love story did affect me because there were too many feels in it. The drama was a little bit exaggerated but who cares? You can't just fall out of love with Woods once you're already hooked with him. ;)
In this book, not only was Della and Woods' story highlighted. There was a glimpse of Jace and Bethy's, too. As well as Blaire and Rush, Grant, and of course my baby Tripp's. :) I loved how these characters converged together and molded their friendship.
There was something in this book that made me cry-- especially at the end. And although I was already spoiled on that certain "twist", still, I couldn't help but cry. Damn. Abbi Glines. Why???
But for the main story, it was good. It was a sweet, happy conclusion for Della and Woods' story. I could not ask for a better ending!

“The thing is that people only get hurt—really hurt—when they’re trying to play it safe. That’s when people get injured, when they pull back at the last second because they’re scared. They hurt themselves and other people.”
A heart-felt, beautiful tale about family drama, childhood romance, and friendship that will pull your emotions.
It's my first time reading a book written by Morgan Matson, and I could say that she's one of a kind. The first few lines of the book already told me that the author is thoroughly capable of writing a great and unforgettable novel.
This is a sort of moderately heavy drama. It starts off when the main character Taylor Edwards learned that her father has a pancreatic cancer and is dying. One who is used to running off whenever certain situations tend to get rough, she found herself unable to escape the situation when her family decided to go to Pocono Mountains where their lake house was situated and where they always spend their summers together. Even though she was not really comfortable going back there-- because going back means possibly seeing her best friend Lucy and childhood sweetheart Henry, she had to- for the sake of her dad who wanted to make his possibly last summer meaningful.
I love these kinds of stories. But it takes an extremely convincing plot to really impress me. The book is good, but for some reason it was lacking. The plotline fell short and it lacked immense movement. It actually took me a while to come around because there were pages upon pages and nothing really happened-- which was kind of tedious.
I have also some issues with the main character. So I was aware that Taylor is not a strong character here. She immediately runs off whenever she encounters a great conflict that she can't handle. All the while I thought she would improve, but then she didn't. I was surprised and annoyed at the same time when (view spoiler)[during the last chapters she suddenly pulled off and rejected or basically dumped Henry because of a shallow reason that she can't be able to be with him while her father is dying. C'mon, Henry can stay by her side (he even offered it) while she is grieving. Why break up with him when everything is already perfect between them? Ugh. (hide spoiler)] That said, the book kind of went downhill for me.
Another issue was the conflict of the book. I don't know but for me, a conflict has to be deep in order to draw the readers in. In this book, however, the conflict was too superficial. And it was easily resolved! Taylor did not even have a hard time gaining Lucy and Henry's forgiveness. Just a simple sorry from her and they're like, "sure, it's ok. I forgive you." (IT MAKES ME SAD) :( 'Coz really, I was looking for an emotional reunion and forgiveness.
The book's strength, however, was its strong message about how one should not run away when things tend to get hard, and how important it is to stand on your own, face the fears and consequences, and just love a person without holding back. I admit that I was really moved with the letter Taylor's dad left her. The message was utterly thought-provoking and it really made sense.
As a whole, the book is still a good read. I recommend this to everyone at all age who loves summer books with a blend of drama and a little bit of romance. :)
What I love the most about reading Jennifer L. Armentrout's book is that she never fails me. I am so in love with"Crap. He had me at sweetheart."
What I love the most about reading Jennifer L. Armentrout's book is that she never fails me. I am so in love with this book! And I am so glad to finally have delved into JLA's heart-swooning world again. This book is absolutely a beautiful and thoroughly engaging New Adult/chick-lit read. Everything in it is swoon-worthy and I swear I got more than what I hoped for. I love the characters, especially Cam. He's not only six feet, three inches, blue-eyed gorgeousness but he's funny, sweet, thoughtful-- a complete package!
I admit that this book got me off to a rough start because at some point I find Avery quite annoying but in the end it was resolved and I finally undestood her. What I love about this book is that it's simply romantic and all kinds of perfect. Now this book may sound like your typical New Adult book but in my opinion this was way better than most NA books. I love the drama and the romance itself. And I love how both characters eventually accepted each other's imperfections and the way their relationship was developed. Jennifer L. Armentrout really knows how to make my heart swoon!
I also love the ending. It's one of those satisfying ones that will draw you in. I wish to give this book more than 5 stars, to be honest. That's how great it is! :)

And seriously, I love books that are with male protagonists with sexy, bad-boy image. Given the fact that this book also has high ratings, why not?
Rule is the first book of Marked Men series. We get to be introduced by the sexy, tattoo artist named Rule here-- a guy who grew up with family issues because of the tragic history that happened to his twin brother Remy. Then there is this girl named Shaw, a medical college student who always had a thing for Rule since she was 14. The thing is, she was close to Remy and everyone in Rule's family assumed that she and Remy were sort of an item-- not knowing exactly that Shaw is secretly in love with Rule.
This book is potentially good, I guess... If only I have no issues.
But then, I simply could not totally like it. Why? It's because of the characters.
First, let's talk about Rule. This guy is sexy as hell. With all those tats and piercings-- well, he's a guy every girl in the corner wants to hook up with. At first, I really adored him. But when I've read more and more chapters, my adoration for him slowly died. He's so not worth it! I don't like the way he's so full of himself, like "hey, I'm bad and sexy, girls. Want to f*ck with me? Come and get me" I have nothing against man-whore male leads but then this guy-- he just ruined my good impression on him. He's total jerk in a literal way. And so immature. All right, he has some issues I get it but to text his girlfriend "I kissed some chick last night"? WTF? If I were Shaw, I would not only destroy my phone after reading that text from him. I would freaking destroy his face!
And oh, I hate it when he always compare Shaw to his previous conquests. Like, how Shaw is much better in bed than his previous one-night-stand girls, and how she's even sexier. Alright, Shaw is sexy and perfect and that should be it. Why bring up the EXes?
And now on to Shaw.
Shaw is what you can consider an ideal girl. Pretty, smart, rich, decent, and a medical student at that. Perfect. But then, she constantly disappoints me. All throughout the book I was groaning inwardly or rolling my eyes because she's such a love sick woman who is willing to cross everything just to be with Rule and it's just not right. She's playing martyr which does not sit well on me because I think she's too good for Rule. And when Rule openly admitted to cheating on her and she just instantly forgive him? WTH?
And here's her line that made me raise some serious eyebrows:
"Even if I hadn't been on the pill, having a moment of wild, uninhibited and totally unprotected sex with him was most definitely worth any of the risks that were involved with that."
Holy sh*it! That guy has serious sexual histories with different girls-- night after night-- and you could say THAT? You mean, you're ok getting STD because he's worth it? Oh, no!
Because of that, the book did not gain thumbs up from me. I was mostly busy rolling my eyes at the immaturity of them. Maybe the next books of this series are better but I'm not so sure if I will pick them up soon. Maybe-- maybe not.
I still give it 2 stars, however, because I enjoyed the first parts of it. :)

This book is“When a monster stopped behaving like a monster, did it stop being a monster? Did it become something else?”
High fantasy at its best!
This book is to be admired. And I definitely agree with everyone who says that the book is truly amazing. There are a lot of elements that make this book extra-ordinary.
Graceling is a story about the main character Lady Katsa of the Kingdom of Middlun. Graced with an unnatural gift that can easily kill anyone whenever she wants, she grew up under the influence of her uncle Randa, King of Middlun, who basically used her ability for his own interest. The book is set in a world where seven kingdoms exist-- including Middlun and the story starts off when one of the leaders (the Grandfather) of the Kingdom Lienid was kidnapped. The incidence resulted to Katsa and her companions' rescue involvement and investigation. She eventually met Prince Greening "Po" Grandemalion while rescuing the Grandfather and since then, they worked together to find the one responsible for the kidnapping. (Sorry for my lame attempt of summarizing the book. Lol)
Anyways, what I love about this book is the way it gives me the epic fantasy feels. You know when you're reading a kind of book that just seems to take you to that certain world? This book does it!
The world building of this book is good, but I have to admit that I had a rough time at first because there were just too many names of persons and places. However, it was resolved as the chapters went by.
I especially love the characters here. Katsa and Po! Oh my goodness. I love this pair!
A Prince and a King's niece? Why not? OTP! I found myself shipping them together all throughout the book. I actually love how they work together as a team. How they fight and train together-- it was awesome and entertaining! And did I mention that Prince Po is such a swoon-worthy character? Bae! And when it comes to Katsa, well, I really adore her. She's not difficult to like. Strong-willed, badass, and without angst. Definitely my type of heroine!
This book, however, has some flaws and one of them is the ending. Turns out it's a bit hurried or something. And I was actually expecting a different ending especially for Po and Katsa. I was not so satisfied by that.
Another thing is the action scenes. I kind of expected extreme, heart-pounding action scenes but they were just mild ones and not so challenging in my opinion.
But as a whole, I really love this book. I love the characters, the setting, and the whole story itself. I highly recommend this book to everyone, especially for those of you who love fantasy books such as The Grisha trilogy and Red Queen. :)
"I hope you become queen one day. Imagine what you could do then? The Red Queen."

How can I convey the awesomeness of Red Queen? This book deserves more than 5 Stars! I'm utterly in awe of it! It's very well written and it surprisingly captured my attention the whole way through.
The tale is centered on a Red-blooded, 17 year-old Mare Barrow who grew up in a deprived village and was raised being aware of the harsh reality that Red Bloods are inferior and are ruled by an elite known as Silver bloods. In a twist of fate, she was pulled out of one world and put into another-- the Palace-- a place she can't seem to fit into, due to her unusual and unwanted power which is basically not valid for a Red like her. Since becoming the betrothed of one of the King's sons, Mare's life was fed with so much intrigue, deception, and even cruelty which opened her eyes and forced her into joining a rebellion.
The great thing about Red Queen is that it conveys a perfect dystopian theme. The story got off to a good start and it became more and more interesting which made it an absolute page-turner. With its fascinating storyline and the way Victoria Aveyard brilliantly molded her characters from the beginning to the end, I was absolutely spell-bound and I found myself longing for the next book.
This book somewhat reminded me of the Grisha series and The Selection. But Red Queen is rather unique and wonderful in its own way. I love everything, especially the heroine who is such a great character. I love her strength and the way she handled difficult situations. Her character development all throughout the book is so amazing!
I also like the love triangle romance here. Somehow it put me into so many feels! Other than that, the book also teaches life lessons in many ways than one.
Words can lie.
Anyone can betray anyone.
All in all, this book was a fantastic read. I enjoyed Mare's journey and everything in it. It's fast-paced, totally unpredictable, and one with a twist that will basically blow your mind. I highly recommend this to all YA Dystopian fans!
I enjoyed the first half of this book because everything seemed mysterious and dark-- which definitely had me flipping pages. The concept was good. I I enjoyed the first half of this book because everything seemed mysterious and dark-- which definitely had me flipping pages. The concept was good. I admire how the author immersed the readers in heavy, fragile, and sensitive topics that involve suicide and rape. The writing style of the author also impressed me because the words were perfectly compelling that it automatically pulled me into the story.
However, I have some issues with this book. I found the plotline weak and totally messed-up. I was so invested with the story until I started reading the second half of the book. It disappointed me. Most parts were dragging and it was only when I reached 80% when things started to get interesting. But still, it fell short for me.
The main character Brooke also did not help lift the story up. I found her so immature and I did not like how she made such stupid and selfish decisions. Not to mention that she was very horny most of the time.
The romance was also a so-so. There were hot scenes, but it missed some romantic factors for me.
Also, the thing that bothered me the most was the setting. While this book was categorized in a NA genre, I was confused about why the author placed the story in a high-school setting. Yes, the characters were Seniors and already 18, but something was wrong here. I was not comfortable imagining the dark, explicit scenes happening in high-schoolers. In my opinion, the story should have been placed in a more mature setting.
There were also unrealistic scenes. Like how in the world the Fantasy Slut League existed for a very long time without being noticed by the police or law-makers? I mean, the swim team guys already made quite a number of victims in the school but how their acts weren't caught was too impossible and unrealistic.
I was also looking for some twist at the near-end portion of the book but unfortunately, nothing remarkable happened. And when it comes to the ending, a huge part of it felt so cliche to me.
Even if this book did not completely enthrall me, I would still recommend this to anyone who is looking for a book with this kind of genre. Maybe it will work out for you. :)

Friend-Zoned is one of those books you would gladly read for pleasure. It's hilarious and practically delightful. Belle Aurora laced this book with humor and pure entertainment that readers will surely laugh out loud.
This book is actually a decent NA read. But while I didn't hate it or anything, it left quite me unsatisfied because I was expecting something different. I loved the story. The plot was simple and interesting but I wasn't convinced with the delivery especially because of its slow pacing that dragged most parts of the book.
I also had an issue with the main character Tina who acted so childish despite her mature age. But it doesn't mean I was annoyed with her. It's just that I'm weirded out by her personality. In the end though, I warmed up to her because of what happened to her in the past. It was in the last few chapters of the book that I totally empathized with her.
Nik, on the other hand, was a great character. He's a bit cliché but he's one of the most likable of people to read about. He's a typical rich casanova but he's sweet and very passionate when he seriously falls for someone. I definitely swooned a lot with the way he cared for Tina. :)
All in all, this book is an enjoyable read but for me, it's nothing extraordinary. I'm not closing my doors for this author though because I really want to read her Willing Captive and Lev which are highly recommended by friends. :)

This was just an okay book. It wasn’t that great, but it w“You rescued me and I found my ruin. I’m ruined for you– and I won’t ever be the same.”
This was just an okay book. It wasn’t that great, but it wasn’t crazy bad either. What I love about this book was Weston. He’s one of the best male leads I’ve encountered in a New Adult book. He actually reminds me of Cam from Wait for You. Anyways, I really love characters with a great sense of humor. Kiersten was also a great character. She wasn’t exactly the most likable of people to read about at first, but I was glad that I quickly warmed up to her. I love her enthusiasm to step away from her nightmares and grief over her parent’s death.
The book mainly focuses on illness, grief, hope, and love. It was not 100% emotionally-packed because there was humor in it which made the book a light read, so don’t expect it to really tear your hearts like what some illnesses and death books do. The main concerns I have with this book were 1.) the insta-love, 2.) the un-original concept, and 3.) some clichés. The romance was good and it was sweet, but majority of it didn’t grab me at all.
Otherwise, the story was still a nice piece of fiction. It has life lessons to teach you and it also inspires you to never give up and continue to fight no matter how hard life takes you at some point.

Highly entertaining, unpredictable, and royally fabulous. This book nailed what a highly enjoyable sequel should be. I like this book as a whole. The only downside I found was Eadlyn's attitude. *smirks
[image]
I have to admit I had a hard time liking Eadlyn at first because she's bratty, spoiled, and quite obnoxious but as the story went by, I witnessed her remarkable character development and I was glad somehow. :)
The whole story revolves in the Selection process where Eadlyn chooses a husband out of 35 gentlemen. The best thing about the book is how you can never predict who among her suitors will win her heart, because you basically live in her POV. By the way, there are lots of guys you will be torn.
This book, as a whole, lives up to my expectations. :) But to be honest, I like The Selection series far better than this book. I like America's conquest to win Maxon's heart. :) But still, The Heir is a great read. If you've been a fan of The Selection series, I recommend you to read this sequel. :)

Brilliant concept Amazing writing style Excellent imagination from the author Hands down creativity Intriguing characters Fast pacing Entertaining, page-turning plot
The concept of this book is indeed brilliant-- And it's quite unique. I have read a couple of books that talk about angels and most of them really impressed me. But this book-- it does not only impress me. It surprises me all the way.
"Once upon a time, an angel and a devil fell in love. It did not end well."
Never have I read something that talks about angels and devilschimaera. What was thaaaat again? Chimaera. I had to google the term myself because I needed a better perspective about those creatures lurking around this book. I was totally fascinated! Chimaeras and angels in a book? Whoa! That is something I've never encountered before. Thank you, Laini Taylor for introducing this to me! God bless you and your imagination!
What also made me fascinated with the book is of course, the amazing world-building. The settings are a jaw-dropper. If you think this book has only one setting, you've got it all wrong. It has otherworldly places that will put you in a full-on surprise and amazement.
When it comes to the author's writing style... well, you can never go wrong in Laini Taylor. She really knows how to lure her audience and bring them to her majestic world. And not only that. She also incorporates humor in her lines. I really enjoy it every time I'm in Karou's head. She has entertaining thoughts she had me laughing at times.
And speaking of Karou, this book also has intriguing characters. I like Karou best of all. She's not at all annoying (This trait is becoming a constant issue, eh? Lol). I simply like her! She's a combination of badass and sweet and funny.
I also love Akiva. Can I pause for a while and sighhhh? The feels! This guy is such a swoon-worthy guy. Heart heart! I also love the chimaeras Brimstone, Issa, Yasri, and Twiga. They are so adorable I just want to hug them all!
What's even great about it is its fast pacing. There was never a dull moment here. From the very first page up to the last, I found myself really, really compelled. And oh, did I say that each chapter also has something to reveal and surprise?
The book is totally a page-turner. It kept my attention all throughout. In fact, it took me a while to finish it because I simply had to devour it word after word just so I can totally seize and enjoy the experience being in that world.
I could not thank Laini Taylor enough for bringing her awesome imagination to life through this book. It was simply a great adventure! I am certainly going to read the sequels soon!!!
(I also want to thank my dear, sweet friend AJ the Ravenous Reader for encouraging me to read this book. Love you, girl! x)
