This novella was adorable! Brooks and Lila, his best friend’s sister, share a moment at her brother’s engagement party. They go their separate ways until they both end up in Starlight Pines for the holiday, with Lila planning her brother’s very last minute wedding, and Brooks being assigned as her helper.

This book was so good! You could feel the tension and passion between Lena and Roman. I enjoy a mix of tropes so the best friends dad, protective man and age gap was perfect! This was my first book by this author and it definitely won't be the last. I'm going to have to scope out her other books now. I really liked this writing style.
