Catherine Cowles’ Tattered & Torn series has me in a chokehold, so you can imagine how desperately I was waiting for Shiloh’s book. And not a single minute of it was disappointing. We’ve been watching quiet and cautious Shiloh slowly find her strength through four books, so to have her be able to tell her story, see her fall in love and find the peace she’s been missing for so long was quite something. I’m glad I managed to read Shattered Sea before this, so I could meet Ramsey. I gotta say, when I saw him interacting with Boden, I imagined him to be a gruff old cowboy. But who he really is? So much better.
This was my first book by Elsie Silver and I have to say I'm not disappointed. I went into this with medium expectations but I ended up reading it all in one sitting. I loved the story, the characters, and the romance. Everything was so well done! Cade and Willa's relationship is incredible! Their emotional, physical and sexual bond is truly something special. If I was either of them, I probably would have thrown in the towel a lot sooner. But, it was worth it. Right from the first time Willa’s on her knees to the time when she’s got her panties in her mouth, Cade and Willa’s sexual relationship is explosive in so many brilliant ways.

Let me tell you I have never been so indecisive about picking an OTP for a book. Normally I start a book, and if there’s any kind of love triangle I am immediately attached to one of the guys and I will stick with him the entire series. In the Throne of Glass series, I was lost. In the first book, I couldn’t decide if I like Dorian of Chaol better but as the relationship between Dorian and Celaena developed I was ok with that. Then in Crown of Midnight, I was all for team Chaol. Then that literally fell apart and I didn’t think I would like book 3 because she was leaving both of them behind. Introducing Rowan. But of course, in Heir of Fire we were reminded so many times that their feeling for each other wasn’t romantic so how disappointed was I when she was leaving without him at the end.

Her characters are real, their emotions come through the pages and you go through every step of their journey with them, through the heartache, the love, the forgiveness, and the healing. Throughout the Dirty Air series, Santi has always been a background character, and I thought going into Redeemed that Jax would remain on the top of the podium as my favorite F1 driver, but Santiago Alatorre overtook him at the last moment to win my heart.

I've never read a stalker romance before, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. But when a few trusted romance reviewers began raving about Haunting I've never read a stalker romance before, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. But when a few trusted romance reviewers began raving about Haunting Adeline, my interest was piqued. I mean, even I don't mind a twisted love story every now and then, so why not give it a try? Well, Lord, have mercy on my soul, I feel so wrong admitting it, but I needed the stalker to get the girl. Zade (hot stalker man) is both an anti-hero and a hero. (Think Dexter but times his hotness by 1000.) He personifies goodness in a way not many men ever could, but he's also a possessive asshole with aggressive tendencies.

Devney Perry was a new author to me when I read The Coppersmith Farmhouse and honestly, it was the cover of the book that made me read the book. Let me tell you, that was a good thing I did it. And speaking only about the covers, they are the most beautiful covers I saw. Like seriously, the cover of the fourth book was revealed recently and it’s gorgeous! Felicity was a fantastic heroine. She was prickly on the outside, strong-willed, and fiery. I absolutely freaking loved her attitude and the way she wasn’t afraid to stand up to anyone. And underneath all her sass, she also had a very soft heart that had never stopped loving the one man she’d left behind over a decade ago when she fled town. Silas was an utterly swoon-worthy hero. He is guaranteed to steal your heart. His devotion to Felicity was so touching and sweet. He had secretly loved her since the beginning, and my heart broke for him. He was a former marine and now cowboy who was given an unexpected second chance to show the only girl he’d ever loved how deeply he cared for her, he wasn’t going to lose it.

Well, this series has the most beautiful cover, the first one is pretty, the second one is gorgeous and the third one is awesome. I love the color scheme used on every cover. I can wait to see the covers for books 4 and 5! In The Clover Chapel, we are following Emmeline and Nick. You might remember Nick from book 1, The Coppersmith Farmhouse. He is the fireman and is a friend of Jess (the hero from book 1). We haven’t met Emmeline in the previous book but she is the new kindergarten teacher in the town.

If you don’t like stories with a (very) slow pace, Wait for it isn’t for you. Honestly, everyone should read it because it is a beautiful story. I cannot praise Mariana Zapata’s writing enough. She creates the most amazing characters and stories. Her romances are more than just romances. They’re journeys of growth and discovery. I love how she slowly builds relationships and strengthens them. Diana and Dallas were the perfect examples of this. They didn’t really like each other at the beginning. It took a while for them to truly get to know each other. Their relationship was built on trust and love. It was such an amazing slow burn.

An officer who was her neighbor, and she was in love with him since she was 15 years old. On top of her confusing feelings for Reece, she is also getting messages from someone, that gets more frightening and violent as time goes on, and her best friend since childhood, who lives in a long-term facility after being the victim of a hate crime, is not improving, and the person responsible for the crime wants to make amends - with both of them.

I have to admit it was kinda weird to read sometimes but still, I really enjoyed it. I loved the relationship between James and Gabby, they are literally perfect for each other. The angst and spice were off the charts as was their chemistry. I also loved how in the end we got these time jumps. For a month, nine months, a year, and 4 years, I really loved seeing how their life turned out and how they were happy, and now 3.

I thoroughly adored the main female, Sal, as she was so sassy and witty, and unapologetic about saying what was on her mind. Usually, for me, the female protagonist can become overshadowed in comparison to a male love interest with a strong personality or a silent but deadly vibe. Sal really stood out for me in that regard as she was exceptionally level-headed in most cases but still had realistic flaws such as being a doormat to authority and having the desire to keep people happy.

Anyone who knows me or has followed along with my reviewThe Sweetest Oblivion is the first book I’ve read by Danielle Lori and quite simply, amazing! Anyone who knows me or has followed along with my reviews for a while now will know that I absolutely ADORE mafia romance. I love the dark depths, intrigue, seduction, and steamy relationships that occur between the two leading characters; and that is exactly what I got in The Sweetest Oblivion by Danielle Lori. This is book one in the Made series and focuses on heroin, Elena (aka The Sweet Abelli), and hero, Nico. Elena is a sweetheart, young and naive. She thinks she can temporarily take off from her mafia upbringing to enjoy a taste of freedom; not realizing there are serious consequences to her actions. As a result, she’s brought a reputation upon herself and has reduced her chances of being allowed an opinion to whom her father decides to marry her off.

SCREAMING. CRYING. THROWING UP.
I 100% loved this book more than once upon a broken heart. I think Stephanie Garber does sequels really well, building off of what she previously wrote to make a story that compels and stuns you. Honestly, I don't even think I can write a coherent review on this book or if I need to, really. I just want to fangirl and gash over Jacks. But here I have to make a disclaimer that though I am forever team Jacks I couldn't help but notice the number of sexy men in this book! Really, so many yummy abs! Jacks, Jacks, Jacks…you most awful of bad boys. I’m here to see him protect Evangeline and entice her and break her heart all over again…just because I know his heart is breaking too. ...more

From the very first page, I was so hooked. Zapata writes dialogue like no one else and her one-liners are superb. The interaction between Aiden and Vanessa was a highlight for me because their chemistry was on point and they were just so interesting. I swear there was never a dull moment in this book but it wasn’t complete angst-ville 24/7. There was drama and issues which gave the book excitement and suspense but it wasn’t unrealistic or so overdone that it started to bore me. Vanessa is pretty headstrong, and lively, she reveals later she has anger issues (but they have been quelled by a technique she uses with counting to ten), her background is riddled with family problems of the highest degree and she works for Aiden. Aiden is pretty much one of the largest guys to ever walk the earth and we later find out that he’s also packing something pretty large under his clothes (wink wink nudge nudge) and is also a complete arsehole at the beginning of the book.

I’m in love with this book. In love, people. I just finished all 551 pages and I already want to reread it. Mariana Zapata took us on a journey with this one. It started out as a book dealing with Aurora’s past grief, moving on, and finding her place in the world. That finding her place turned into finding love, friends, and family. It was such a sweet read.
