I'm renaming this thing Tempermental & Tarty because it's more apropos. And p.s. when the hell are one of these Sassy Boyz actually going to be sassy?

This is almost a carbon copy of Fierce & Fabulous in plot which annoys me with its lack of creativity. Not as much as these two characters, but still.

Z is also a Sassy Boy. He's the "dark" one which translates to he likes to wear black.

Oh, he plays at being a hard ass but it mostly comes across as posturing. He has the requisite sad backstory like all the Sassy Boyz. His making him "independent" and "standoffish". Both of which would've gone down better had he not started mooning over Connelly within minutes of meeting him. Kinda shot that "not trusting others" characterization to shit in a hurry.

As the story unfolds Z does one stupid, selfish ass thing after another most of which I was doing a good job overlooking or making excuses for until the bareback scene and its aftermath.

I almost called it a day after that shitshow of epic melodramatic proportions.

But I wanted to see if Connelly could somehow inject, borrow or have surgically implanted a spine and stop being such a fucking doormat.

Answer: NO.

I also was curious if Z would pull his head out and realize what a selfish prick he was being in the face of nothing but kindness.

Answer: Sorta.

He still somehow managed to make it all about him and Connelly managed to apologize FOR BEING NICE!!!!!!!!!!

The sex is pretty hot. I just wish the two fucktards having it weren't... well, fucktards!

I keep waffling between 1-2 stars but the fact that they never really talked their shit out instead opting to bang and snuggle then spouted some cockamamie BS about unicorns and rainbows and picket fences...

If you dig instalove romance betwixt two people who are craycraybenaynay and have pegged the speedometer for Melodrama Central that's perpetrating as hurt/comfort then this is the book for you.

The saddest part is I already bought the next one because I really like Tam but now I'm shit skerd to read it, because what if it's Drama Llamasville Part Trois? *wilts*

It's some serious dog shit imo. But maybe my "sassy" standards are lofty.

IDK Jan. I just do not know WTF happened but it wasn't good. The sad thing is I don't think I even read the damn blurb! This is a character flaw of mine or maybe a sickness?

But at least I entertained some peeps! Glass half full!

I don’t think I have ever read a book in my life without reading the blurb 🤯 it’s a compulsive disorder. I cannot NOT. 🤕 it seems that I am the sick one 🙄

Optimist ♰King's Wench♰ I know. I know. *hangs head*

It gets me into these sorts of sticky situations ALL THE DAMN TIME! You'd think I'd learn. But you would be wrong.

I disappoint myself sometimes.

Never mind, Cupcake :( You can't tell if a book is going to be a winner just by the blurb. I was just messing up with you.
I DO read them all though LOL It's really a compulsive act of mine.* says the freakish lady* xxx
