Migraine
Migraine: The Basics
Migraine is a neurological disease that manifests in recurrent episodes, or attacks. These attacks often include a severe headache, nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to external stimuli like light, sound, and touch. Migraine can be extremely debilitating, impacting productivity in school or work, and can interfere with everyday household responsibilities and leisure activities. It is more common in women and can occur in various forms, such as migraine with aura, migraine without aura, and chronic migraine.
