It gives a comfortable space to praise people publically and recognise positive behavior outside of the usual work objectives etc. It's lush to see your progress from the kudos you received early in the year to what you receive now.

I dislike how the thank yous are public by default. Yet another part of life that's becoming a performative experience. It takes away from the authenticity of the thank you. Also tying points that are money to it feels like gratitude is being monetized....
