Being in high school helps prepare us
for the responsibilities needed for the
''adult" part of growing up. But do we
really have to "grow-up"? Does grow-
ing up mean having to wear business
suits and frowny faces, and yell when
the music is too loud? Does growing
up mean we have to ~top having fun?

here at Buffalo High SchooL the answer
is "NO"! We may be growing up on
the outside, but on the inside we have
all the curiousitie of a five-year-old.
Hopefully despite being caught between
independence and immaturity, finding a

though riding a horse is not always a smooth ride, riding relaxes her. o matter how much stress fills her day she can
alwayc.; hop on a horse & have fun. During high school Tabitha always had a hard time staying up late to finish her home-

went on a joy ride. She just decided to take it out for a little fun on a boring day. he has had a hard time with her locker being
in a different hall\\ay than all of her cia es. When Kassie grows up she wants to be a pre-natal nurse or a pediatrician. he
loves kids, and wants to do something involving children. lthough, when she was young -.he \\'anted to be an astronaut. In the

SENIORS TRAVELED TO SILVER DOLLAR CITY FOR SENIOR
TRIP. IT WAS THEIR LAST CHANCE TO MAKE UP FOR OLD TIMES.
THE WEATHER WAS CLEAR AND THE TEMPATURES WERE FAIR,
WHICH GAVE SENIORS A PERFECT DAY FOR FUN RIDES AND
GOOD FOOD. SENIORS GOT A CHANCE TO RIDE THE NEW ROL-
LARCOASTER CALLED THE POWEDER KEG. IT WAS FAST AND
STOMACH TURNING. THERE WERE OTHER RIDES FOR THE
SENIORS TO EXPERIENCE WHICH INCLUDED: FIRE IN THE HOLE,
WILDFIRE, WATER TOBOGAN, LOST RIVER, JIMERICAN SHOOT
OUT, THE BALLOON RIDE, AND MANY MORE. WORLD FEST WAS
BEING CELEBRATED THROUGHOUT THE PARK WHICH INCLUDED
PARADES, MUSIC, AND FOOD FROM DIFFERENT NATIONALITIES.
THE PARK WAS FULL OF LITTLE SHOPS WHERE SENIORS COULD
BUY SOUVINERES TO REMIND THEM OF THE GOOD TIME THEY
HAD. SOME SENIORS BOUGHT CANDLES, T-SHIRTS, PICTURES
FROM THE RIDES THEY RODE, GIANT BAGS OF POPCORN AND
PIG SKINS, AND EVEN GARTERS THAT HAVE SILVER DOLLAR CITY
RIBBONS ON THEM IT WAS A FUN AND MEMORABLE DAY FOR
THE CLASS OF 2005. JIND IT WAS JUST ANOTHER DAY CLOSER
TO GRADUATION.
