Dear Bergamo Montessori School Director,

I recently received notice that you are currently searching for an assistant teacher in the toddler
classroom, and I would like to apply for this open position. I believe that I am the perfect fit for this
specific job because I am very passionate about working with children. I also have experience with
working with children of all ages.

Throughout the past several years, I have spent a great deal of time working with children in a variety of
settings. I have been a nanny for a number of families and a daycare provider for the local gym for a year.
I have had experience volunteering as a teacher’s assistant in a Special Education classroom and
conducting interactive lessons for students. As for my character, I am someone who is able to handle
difficult situations with patience,humility and gentleness. As I have been working as a Shift supervisor for
the past year and a half at Starbucks, I have learned the importance of clear and calm communication. I
believe these assets that I possess will be extremely helpful as an assistant teacher in the toddler
classroom at your school.
