In my self-reflection I will be discussing what I learned and what I have overcome.

The most

challenging assignment was the blogs, because working with Weebly it was a very difficult

website to use, and you must actually know how to work the website in order to make your

project successful. I overcame it by asking peers to help me where I was struggling at and I

overcame it once she helped me even though it was difficult. The easiest assignment was making

the video I actually enjoyed making the video because I could go around campus and get their

opinion on what they thought about my question on “What does Black Lives Matter mean”?

what made it easy was I could use iMovie and iMovie is a great app to use because you don’t

have to use other websites when you have the app already and you just make it real easy to use.

The new media text I was asked to create was and I was most proud of is the cat yelling at the

lady. I would change it up and make my own meme, I would do it again and come up with my

own joke that I know people would laugh at and enjoy it would probably be a picture of me

saying something crazy. I feel like my skills have improved because now I can use what I know

for other classes if I have a project to do I would use the software’s we use for this class or I can

use it in the real world because it could come in handy at the times if I need it. My skills most

defiantly were improved. I would not pursue a career in new media. I want to be and early

childhood teacher when I grow up and I will like to learn more about what kids are more

interested in because it is great to hear from their side and come up with some ideas to make it

successful. I would take up another class in the future to see what else is there to know about

new media because I know there is a lot more to learn than what I already learned this semester. I

really enjoyed this class this semester and I would recommend someone to this class because you

may never know who actually needs to know more about what is going on in the real world with

new media.
