About the role:
This role lies within the category team at Blinkit and involves complete ownership of the
P&L for the concerned category. The individual is expected to plan and drive development,
growth, and day to day operations of the category
Key Responsibilities:
   •   Drive sales and margin for the category (top line and bottom line)
   •   Understand and help the team to build new initiatives to enhance category margins
   •   Be the voice of the customer within Blinkit, identify consumer needs, and ensure
       that the team is best placed to meet them
   •   Keep a track of the changing consumer trends and behavior for the category
   •   Own and plan the assortment and earnings strategy for the category
   •   Plan short and long-term roadmap for the category in consultation with key
       stakeholders
   •   Plan product cycles & product launches with various sellers leading to mutually
       aligned growth for both sellers & Blinkit
Required Skill Set:
  •   MBA from tier 1 MBA college
  •   2-6 Years experience in category management, FMCG/CD brand
      management/trade marketing/sales function
  •   Result-oriented with a strong bias for action and a high degree of ownership
  •   Should be able to work with cross-functional teams, and communicate with
      internal and external parties while meeting tight deadlines
  •   Strong analytical skills
  •   Ability to communicate and influence across levels within and outside the
      organization
